Abstract

The present invention relates to an opening and closing slide device for a portable phone. The object of the invention is to make the device much thinner as well as provide more stable elasticity. The object can be achieved by comprising: first and second elasticity transmission members, a guide member, guide bars, and elastic members. The ends of the first and second elasticity transmission members are respectively connected to first and second units by pivot pins, and each elasticity transmission member can move. The guide member latches and holds the other ends of the first and second elasticity transmission members therein to prevent separation of the elasticity transmission members during sliding. Two of the guide bars are formed at either side of the first and second elasticity transmission members to prevent the separation of the elastic members while the elasticity transmission members slide in each end of the guide member. Each guide bar is inserted into each elastic member, and the elastic members provide the second elasticity transmission member with elasticity. Each elastic member includes a compression unit in the middle portion thereof where the diameter is reduced to enable tight insertion of the guide bar thereinto. Therefore, the guide bars can be pulled out and pushed into the first and second elasticity transmission members uniformly.
