Abstract

데이터 전송률의 이동 평균을 이용한 대역폭 설정 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따르면, 데이터 전송률의 이동 평균값을 연산하고, 연산된 이동 평균값을 이용하여 대역폭을 설정한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 통신망의 구성이 점점 더 복잡하게 됨에 따라 다양하고 복잡한 통신망의 상태를 대역폭 설정에 반영할 수 있고, 보다 효과적으로 통신망의 상태에 따른 최적의 대역폭을 설정하는 되는 장점이 있다.
