The shaft joins together free wheels attached to the shaft and assembled at the end of a boom. All the free wheels are installed so that the odd wheels rotate freely in the opposite direction to the even free wheels. The booms are positioned horizontally and have at their end a buoy making contact with the surface of the water. Each boom has a different length. A wave-breaker is installed at each end of the longitudinal extension of the platform.
Description
CENTRAL ELÉCTRICA DE ROTORES MARINOS MECÁNICOS ELECTRICAL CENTER OF MECHANICAL MARINE ROTORS
The present invention relates to a marine platform that contains a shaft along its entire length in which free wheels are attached which in turn are attached to masts located flush with the surface of the water being at the ends of each of They buoys floating in the water. The buoys when moving move the mast and this in turn moves the shaft that incorporates at its end an electric power generator.
The sea is the origin of numerous energy sources. Currently, some of them are exploited on a large scale, such as oil and gas. However, the exploitation of sustainable energy sources is also in full development: thus the shallow waters are the headquarters of wind farms; As for the power of the waves and the tides, it can also be transformed into electricity thanks to certain motor tide plants that are still not very widespread.
It falls within the energy sector and, within it, renewable and clean energy.
Thus, the mills moved by the tides of sea water are known that, gathering their strength, spun wheels to crush the grain and various cereals. The document ES252554Y describes a cylinder closed by one of its ends and by another open and inside a valve that throws a large amount of force due to the pressure of the water and drifts it to a container creating a source of energy. Document ES2273774T3 proposes a buoy that is anchored at a fixed point outside the sea and that by means of a drum is collected and released again into the water managing to generate air that is collected in a pneumatic accumulator that in small water courses that produced waterfalls and a small reservoir that by means of a simple mechanism moved the wheels of the mill. Document ES2006585 narrates a wall anchored in the sea crossed by nozzles, these being perpendicular to the waves and collecting the air that is driven by the force of the waves in a container that serves as an energy generator. Document ES493868A1 describes an installation based on propellers moved by the force of seawater that in turn move an axis that moves alternators. What is known in the state of the art has these drawbacks:
- El documento ES252554Y describe un gran cilindro pero este cilindro debe estar cerca de Ia orilla puesto que el agua que desprende debe tener el mismo efecto que un salto de agua y por Io tanto su instalación debería de encontrarse a Io largo de Ia costa.- Document ES252554Y describes a large cylinder but this cylinder must be close to the shore since the water that it gives off must have the same effect as a waterfall and therefore its installation should be along the coast.
También el hecho de instalarlo es costoso.- Document ES2273774T3 proposes a buoy that is collected and released by a kind of drum that coils and unwinds a cable. In the same way, its installation must be attached to the coast with which the swell is smaller since it is in that place where the wave stops having more distance between the crest and the surface of the water. - Document ES2006585 narrates an installation based on walls, nozzles, ducts so that it is the air that generates accumulated inside a container the energy that is intended to be created but is a very expensive installation for the energy that has been accumulated taking into account account that everything to be of steel. Also the fact of installing it is expensive.
Es también una instalación muy costosa.- Document ES493868A1 describes an installation based on rotating propellers but the propellers cannot move all at once and in the same direction because the axes would be blocked. It is also a very expensive installation.
Frente a estos inconvenientes Ia invención que aquí se propone presenta las siguientes ventajas:Faced with these drawbacks, the invention proposed here has the following advantages:
The placement is indistinct either on the coast or on the high seas since it is a mountable and detachable platform whose operation is autonomous
It is not expensive to install or assemble because the elements are simple since they are masts, wheels and buoys
- Se encuentra situada en sentido paralelo a las olas para recoger así toda su fuerza- The fact that each mast has a different length achieves a very global use of the force of the movement of the waves and also ensures that they do not meet each other. - Shaft movement is not generated until the two tracks of the freewheels coincide by performing a rotating movement stabilized by a flywheel. - It is located parallel to the waves to collect all its strength
It is clean and renewable energy. A hydroelectric plant of a dam is not described but with the same source, which is water, to create energy without impacting the environment.
All these conjugated elements give rise to a final result in which significant differentiating characteristics are provided compared to the current state of the art.
The present invention is constituted from the following elements: A platform anchored on the seabed by legs, in the form of angles whose vertices support above said surface the platform. The length of the platform is a function of the constitution of the seabed, geographical circumstances, legal or other procedures that may allow the total surface of the platform. The aforementioned length of the platform directs parallel to the waves. The width of the platform is of the optimal dimensions to allow the installation and maintenance of a number of supports, according to the total length, in which some bearings that maintain a shaft that occupies the entire length of the platform, one end of the platform, are coupled. shaft incorporates a flywheel and at the other end is installed an electric power generator. In all the length of the axle, at a suitable distance, freewheels whose inner race is integral with the shaft and the outer race assembled at the end of a mast remain coupled. The total freewheels are installed so that the odd ones have the freewheel in the opposite direction to the even freewheels. The masts coupled to the outer tracks of the freewheels are in a horizontal position and have a curvature that allows a buoy, made of hard plastic or similar material, incorporated at the opposite end to that connected with the freewheel, touch the water surface . The length of the mast that holds the buoy is different in each one of them, in order that the passage of each of the waves that passes, moves successively all the free wheels and the buoys do not touch each other. All the masts incorporated to the odd freewheels are located in the opposite direction to the even freewheels. At the ends of the length of the platform two breakwaters are installed to avoid unnecessary imbalances in the structure.
The operation begins when the buoys, moved by the waves, produce a linear displacement that when it coincides with the free rotation of the free wheels, has no effect on the axle and when it coincides with the coupling of the two tracks of the free wheels move the axle, as the odd freewheels couple in the opposite direction to the pairs, and the buoys corresponding to the odd ones and the pairs are located in the opposite direction, they achieve a rotating movement in the axle stabilized by the flywheel. In a different embodiment, the length of the platform remains perpendicular to the waves.
Different in the end of the axis in which the generator of electrical power is coupled is a system multiplier of revolutions.
