Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for verification of the status of an opposite party without executing a separate program to verify the current status of the opposite party in a communication device, and comprises a status information server which, if status information is received, provides said received status information to a user who has registered the communication device that provided said status information, and a communication device which, if status information is received from said status information server, outputs the user status information corresponding to said status information.
