Description

- -
STRUCTURE OF A STOVE
There is ample knowledge in the technology of stoves composed of a supporting structure made up of two lateral vertical panels, opposite to one another, where the fontal sides fit conveniently to the sides of a vertical front panel, that has one or more rectangular openings (depending whether the model has an overhead kiln, or if the model has one or two ovens, one above, one below), these openings delimitating the entrances to the oven and the kiln, or to the two ovens (upper and lower), respectively; while the lower sides of the two lateral vertical panels fit conveniently in the lateral sides of a back vertical panel, which completes the structure of this stove; this structure often has at least one frontal counter-lock, and at least a rear counter-lock profile, where the free ends are fixed respectively to the front and back sides of the lateral panels of the structure.
Mounting of these lateral panels, front and back, as well as the respective counter-lock profiles, results in a "structural box", which is then duly coated, internally and externally, with finishing products.
Also well-known in the technology are models of stoves were the support structures are formed of vertical columns, which are duly fixed to the two lateral panels, opposite to one another and the back panel, while the back panels, as well as frontal horizontal beams place the limits of entries to the stove and kiln compartments, or of the two ovens (upper and lower). These elements (columns, beams and panels), also make up a "structural box", which is duly coated, internally and externally, with the finishing elements of the stove.
As can be seen from the description above, one inconvenient point in the usual structures is in their requiring coating of all components, internal and external. In fact, after assembly of the "structural box" in both types of structure described above, the following finishing elements are provided: internal plates, to coat the stove and a auxiliary oven compartments delimited by the structure; vertical panels for external closing, to coat the structure externally, forming the lateral and rear walls of the stove; finishing frames to cover the parts of the front panel around the openings of the oven and a auxiliary oven, or of the two ovens (in the first type of structure described above), or to coat the horizontal cross-beams that also delimit the openings of the oven and a auxiliary oven, or of the two ovens (in the first type of structure described above).
Moreover, in both types of structure described above, there is another inconvenience, which is the fact that these structures do not allow interchangeability of components for use in different models of stoves, (for example, with one, two, three, four, five or six rings, with or without a auxiliary oven, etc.), that is, each "structural box", is made up of elements designed specifically for a particular model.
Consequently, while each model of stove is made up of different structural components, each model is made on its own particular production line, which requires greater factory space and a greater storage space for the different structural components of each model, and a larger investment for producing the parts.
The present Invention patent is for the improvement of to the structure of stoves, where the structure will be made up of interchangeable elements, which will result in a modular structure that can be used in different models of stoves, either stoves with one, two, three, four, five or six rings, or stoves with or without a auxiliary ovens, or even stoves with a auxiliary ovens above or below the oven, or even stoves with two ovens
(above and below).
Due to the characteristics of interchangeability and of modulation achieved with the present improvements, the structure of the innovated stove is substantially more practical and functional than the usual known structures, enabling optimization of production by reducing factory production lines, as well as reducing the areas for storage of components and assembly of the same.
On the other hand, with the present improvements, many of the elements that make up the innovated stove structure constitute, at the same time, the finishing elements in themselves, obviating the need for later finishing, and thus reducing the number of parts for finishing in relation to those normally necessary for internal and external coating of the structural box of conventional structures. All this contributes to further simplify assembly of the stove.
For illustration, in annex are drawings of the present invention to enable better visualization:
- figure 1 is an expanded perspective of the improved stove structure, showing all its components;
- figure 2 is the same perspective as the previous figure, now with the components duly assembled, where the structure of the resulting stove can be employed in stoves that have the auxiliary oven at the bottom below the oven or in stoves that have two ovens (one larger, above, and one smaller one below the first);
- figures 3 to 7 illustrate, in sequence, how the components of the structure are assembled, so as to result in a model without a auxiliary oven;
- figures 8 to 13 illustrate, also in sequence, how these components are assembled to result in a model of stove with a auxiliary oven below the oven, or with two ovens (one larger one above, and one smaller one below the first);
- figures 14 to 20 illustrate, also in sequence, how these same components are assembled to result in a model of stove with a auxiliary oven above the oven, or equally with two ovens (one larger one below and one smaller one above). - -
The objective of the present Invention patent is in regards to improvement to the structure of stoves, where the structure (1 ) is made up of interchangeable elements, which results in a modular structure that can be used in different models of stove.
Thus, from figures 1 and 2 accompanying the present report the structure (1 ) is made up of the following components: - four vertical profiles, two of which are frontal (2) with a transversal section basically as "C", and two for the back (3) with transversal section basically as "S", all provided with appropriate perforations conveniently distributed, for later fixing to the other components of the structure (1 ); these profiles (2) and (3) will be used for assembly of all models of stove of a singe manufacturing company; - three vertical frontal cross bars, two of them (4) of approximately double the height of the third (5), all with transversal sections basically as "C", the ends of these cross bars (4) and (5) can be fixed to the vertical frontal profiles (2) described above, at different heights, so as to delimit different positions for the oven and auxiliary oven compartments or for compartments of two ovens (upper and lower) as explained further on; these cross bars (4) and (5) are made in different standard lengths, each one corresponding to the width of the stove in accordance with the number of rings (one, two, three, four, five or six rings), so as to allow its use in all models of stoves of the same manufacturing company, for this purpose the cross bars (4)/(5) are used with standard length corresponding to these models of stove; and these cross bars (4)/(5) will be joined to the frontal profiles (2) before assembly of the product, with "Tox"-type weld, or other convenient process, and later finishing, as also explained further on;
- two lower horizontal profiles (6), with transversal sections basically as "U", with the front and rear ends fixed conveniently to the lower ends of the vertical frontal profiles (2) and back (3), respectively, so as to establish structural tying-in of the frontal (2) and rear (3) vertical profiles, the lower horizontal profiles (6) being fixed to the feet of the frontal support (6a) and the rear shoes (6b) with regulation of height; these profiles (6) will be used in assembly of all models of stoves from a single manufacturing factory;
- two lateral vertical quadrangular panels, (7), provided with, at their lateral and upper sides, with short flanges folded out orthogonally (7a), with perforations in the proper places, for later fixing to the other components of the structure (1 ), as well as, on its lower side, a short flange folded inwards (7b); these panels (7) will make up the lateral closing of the oven compartment of the stoves, as explained further on, and will be used in assembly of all models of stove from a single manufacturing company;
- two more vertical quadrangular panels, (8), of approximately half the height of the panels (7), and equally provided, on the lateral and upper sides, with short flanges folded out orthogonally (8a), with appropriate perforations, for later fixing of the other components of the structure (1 ), as well as, on its lower side, a short flange folded inwards (8b); these panels (8) will configure the lateral closing of the a auxiliary oven compartment or of the second oven (upper or lower), as explained further on, and can be used in assembly of all models of stoves of the same manufacturing company;
- a vertical rear quadrangular panel, (9), provided with encircling flanges (9a), with appropriate perforations, for later fixing to the other components of the structure (1 ); the panel (9) will configure rear closing of the compartment of the ovens, as explained further on; - another vertical rear quadrangular panel (10), of approximately half the height of the panel (9), and equally provided with encircling flanges (10a), with appropriate perforations, for later fixing to the other components of the structure (1 ); this panel (10) will configure the rear closing of the a auxiliary oven compartment or second oven (upper or lower) of the stoves, as explained further on; - two horizontal quadrangular panels (11 ), with the frontal and rear sides provided with short flanges folded orthogonally upwards (1 1a), and with the sides provided with short horizontal flanges (1 1 b), slightly lowered in relation to the panel (11 ), these flanges (1 1a)/(11 b) are also provided with appropriate perforations, for later fixing to the other components of the structure (1 ); these panels (1 1 ) will configure the upper closing of the oven and the auxiliary oven compartment (or second oven) of the stoves, as explained further on;
- two more horizontal quadrangular panels (12), with oblong perforations (12a) for passage of air; these panels (12) will configure the lower closing of the oven and the auxiliary oven compartments (or second oven) of the stoves, as explained further on; Observation: both the rear vertical panels (9) and (10), the horizontal panels (1 1 ) and (12) are made in various standard widths, each one corresponding to the width of the stove according to the number of rings (one, two, three, four, five or six rings), so as to allow use in all models of stove of the same manufacturer, and for this purpose, panels (9)/(10)/(11 )/(12) are used with width corresponding to these models of stoves; - a lower horizontal profile (13), with transversal section basically "L", with the ends fixed conveniently to the lower ends of the rear vertical profiles (3), so as to establish the structural tying-in of the two profiles (3); this lower horizontal profile (13) is made in various standard sizes, each one corresponding to the width of the stove according to the number of rings (one, two, three, four, five or six rings), so as to allow use by all models of stove by the same manufacturing company, with one, two, three, four, five or six rings, and the profile (13) will be used of the standard length corresponding to these models of stoves;
- a rear vertical quadrangular panel (14), also provided with encircling flanges (14a), with appropriate perforations, for later fixing to the other components of the structure (1 ); this panel (14) will configure the rear closing of the stove, as explained further on, and is also made in various standard sizes, each corresponding to the width of the stove according to the number of rings (one, two, three, four, five or six rings), so as to enable its use in all models of stoves from a single manufacturing company, and for this purpose the panel (14) will be used with standard width corresponding to the model of stove. When all components of this improved structure have been described, it can be seen that due to its characteristics of interchangeability and modularity, all components can be used in assembly of any model of stove from the same company, whatever the number of rings (one, two, three, four, five or six rings), whether it has a auxiliary oven, and whether this auxiliary oven is in the upper or lower part of the stove (above or below the oven), or whether it has two ovens (one above one below). It can also be seen that as many of the components of this innovated structure already configure, simultaneously, of finishing elements, the structure will later receive a much lower number of complementary parts for coating.
This will be seen from a description of how assembly will be affected of components of the innovated structure:
If the structure is used in models of stoves without auxiliary ovens, assembly of components is as follows, as illustrated in figures 3 to 7:
- initially, fix the frontal vertical cross bars (4) and (5) to the frontal vertical profiles (2) with "Tox" welds or other convenient process, with later finishing with enamel, with the cross bar (5) at the lower part of the set (see figure 3);
- then fix the lateral vertical panels (7) and the upper horizontal panel (11 ) to the frontal profiles (2), and in sequence, fix the rear vertical panel (9) to these panels (7) and (1 1 ); next, fix the panels (7), (9) and (1 1 ) to the rear vertical profiles (3), resulting in the oven compartment in the upper part of the set (see figures 4 and 5); - then fix the lower horizontal profiles (6) to the lower ends of the frontal and rear vertical profiles (2) and (3), and the rear horizontal profile (13) between the lower ends of the two rear vertical profiles (3), resulting in structural tying-in between all vertical profiles (2) and (3) (see figures 5 and 6);
- finally, fix the rear vertical panel (14) to the rear vertical profiles (3), resulting in the duly assembled structure of the stove (see figure 7).
If the structure is used in stove models with a auxiliary oven in the lower part of the stove, below the oven, or in models with two ovens, a larger upper one and a smaller lower one, assembly proceeds as above up to figure 6, going on to the following stages, as illustrated in figures 8 to 13: - assemble the auxiliary oven (or the second smaller oven, using the lateral vertical panels (8) and rear ones(10), as well as horizontal panels (1 1 ) and (12) (see figure 8);
- fit the auxiliary oven (or the second smaller oven) in the lower part of the stove (see figures 9 and 10), and fix the lateral vertical panels (8) and the horizontal panels (11 ) and (12) to the frontal profiles (2) (see figures 11 and 12); - finally, fix the rear vertical panel (14) to the rear vertical panels (3), resulting in the assembled structure of the stove (see figure 13).
If the structure is employed in models of stoves with a auxiliary oven in the upper part of the stove, or in models of stoves with two ovens, one larger one below and one smaller one above, proceed with assembly of the components as follows, as illustrated in figures 14 to 20:
- first, fix the vertical frontal cross bars (4) and (5) to the frontal vertical profiles (2) with "Tox" welds or any convenient process, with later finishing with enamel, placing the cross bar (5) at the top of the set (see figure 14);
- then fix the lateral vertical panels (7) and the horizontal panels (11 ) and (12) to the frontal panels (2), and then, fix the rear vertical panel (9) to the panels referred to (7), (11 ) and (12); then, fix the panels (7), (9), (1 1 ) and (12) to the rear vertical panels (3), resulting in the stove compartment at the lower part of the set (see figure 15);
- fix the lower horizontal profiles (6) to the lower ends of the vertical frontal(2) and rear (3) profiles, and the rear horizontal profile (13) between the lower extremities of the two rear vertical profiles (3), resulting in structural tying-in of all vertical profiles (2) and (3) (see figure 15 again);
- assemble the auxiliary oven (or the second smaller oven), using for this the lateral vertical (8) and rear (8) panels (10), as well as the horizontal panels (1 1 ) and (12) (see figure 15 again); - set the auxiliary oven (or second smaller oven) in the upper part of the stove (see figures 16 and 17), and fix the lateral vertical panels (8) and the horizontal panels (11 ) and (12) to the frontal profiles (2) (see figures 18 and 19);
- finally, fix the rear vertical panel (14) to the rear vertical profiles (3), resulting in the assembled structure of the stove (see figure 20). As can be seen, the stove structure (1 ) now improved, can be employed in any model of stove, either without a auxiliary oven (figures 3 to 7), or with a auxiliary oven or with a second oven in the lower part of the stove, below the first oven (figures 8 to 13), either with a auxiliary oven or with a second oven in the upper part of the stove, above the first oven (figures 14 to 20). In addition, the structure referred to (1 ) may also be used in models with one, two, three, four, five or six rings, using for this the components with standard sizes compatible with the width of each model. Thus, depending on the number of rings, use is made of the frontal cross bars (4) and (5) and the rear profile (13) with the standard length corresponding to the models, as well as the panels (9), (10), (11 ), (12) and (14) with standard width also corresponding to those models.
Furthermore, after assembly, of the structure (1 ), only two lateral vertical panels will be necessary as finishing pieces (P) (see figures 7, 13 and 20), that will configure the lateral panels of the stove, as later, finishing is obtained by the rear panel itself (14) of the structure (1 ), while frontally, the vertical profiles themselves (2) and the vertical cross bars themselves (4) and (5) already configure as finishing pieces, and can remain visible. And as to the internal compartments of the oven and the auxiliary oven, or of the two ovens, the vertical panels themselves (7), (8), (9) and (10) and the horizontal ones (1 1 ) and (12) that delimit them equally are already finishing parts, and can remain visible. As it is made up of interchangeable and modular elements, the structure of the improved stove is substantially more practical and functional than the usual ones known to technology, allowing optimization in production, due to the reduction of production lines in factories, as well as reducing the areas for storing components and their assembly.
