Abstract
MDCT기반의 코더(205)와 이종의 코더(204) 간 변환에서의 인코딩 장치(101) 및 디코딩 장치가 개시된다. 인코딩 장치(101)는 MDCT기반의 코더(205)와 이종의 코더(204) 간에 변환이 발생할때, MDCT기반의 코딩방식에 따라 인코딩된 입력신호를 복원하기 위해 부가정보를 코딩할 수 있다. 따라서, 불필요한 비트스트림의 생성을 방지하는 한편, 최소한의 부가정보를 인코딩할 수 있다.
