Abstract

The present invention relates to a system and a method for facilitating electronic financial transactions. The principle feature of the present invention is the concept of transaction cards of fixed values in the currencies of users' choice. The transaction cards in accordance with this invention are value cards like prepaid telephone cards. These transaction cards could be issued by any authorized institution such as banks or credit card companies, insurance companies or financial companies who would guarantee payment as is done in present credit card scenario but the payment would be instantaneous.
