Abstract

L’invention concerne un système de confinement de liquide pour un vaisseau maritime. Le système de confinement de liquide comprend un réservoir ayant une partie supérieure au moins partiellement non plane. La partie supérieure du réservoir contient une partie sensible du liquide à l’intérieur et réduit la superficie libre associée au liquide. La partie supérieure du réservoir s’étend au-dessus du pont horizontal du vaisseau, mais permet d’avoir encore suffisamment d’espace sur le pont pour supporter différents équipements requis. Dans un mode de réalisation, le système de confinement de liquide est un réservoir à membrane, conçu pour recevoir et contenir du gaz naturel liquéfié (« GNL »).
