Abstract

The invention relates to a solar collector (1) for the production of hot water, comprising at least one absorber element (10) and a frame component (2) in which the absorber element (10) is arranged. Both the absorber element (10) and the frame component (2) are made of plastic. The absorber element (10) is formed by a hollow chamber profile (13). The frame component (2) comprises an upper part (8) and a lower part (9), and the absorber element (10) is arranged between the upper part (8) and the lower part (9), wherein the upper part (8) and the lower part (9) are likewise designed as separate hollow chamber profiles (11, 12).
