Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of shoes. More specifically, the shoes according to the invention have means for accommodating either several interchangeable heels or a body for rehabilitation.
- the present invention is intended to adequately satisfy the need for an interchangeable heel by a structure of the heel and the shoe that receives it able to withstand the significant efforts that the heel undergoes when wearing the shoe.
- the subject of the present invention is a boot comprising a footwear part with a rear part, a base attached under the rear part of the footwear part, a heel fixed removably to the base by means of fitted assembly and automatic locking means and manual unlocking of said assembly means, characterized in that the base is of plastics material which comprises at least three threaded metal inserts (nuts) for receiving three fastening screws of the base under the rear part of the footwear part of the shoe.
- the inserts are as far apart as possible and are housed in the thicknesses of the base, outside the assembly means.
- the heel has recesses for accommodating the said thicknesses during its assembly with the base.
- the assembly means are constituted by a male dovetail protruding from the base and a female dovetail formed in the heel.
- the extra thicknesses in which the nuts are embedded are arranged to the outside of the tail of male aron.de while the heel has corresponding reserves for housing these extra thicknesses during the nesting and assembly of the two dovetails.
- the visible peripheral part of the base can then remain thin.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view from below of the rear part of a shoe according to the invention
- FIG. 2 is a sectional view along the plane II-II of Figure 1, the heel and the base being assembled.
- the boot according to the invention comprises a footwear part 1 whose rear part is shown.
- This footwear portion has at its base, in known manner, a first mounting, a welt, a lining on which is mounted a shank and a sole.
- a base 2 serving as a removable assembly part for a heel 3.
- the base is a thin plate on its periphery of synthetic material (thermoplastic for example) which has along its longitudinal axis XX , which corresponds to the direction of the length of the shoe, a pin 4 in the form of a male dovetail protruding from the free surface 2a of thin plate.
- an elastic tongue 5, integral with the tenon can be elastically erased inside a housing 6 of the tenon by driving towards the sole of an end 5a of the tongue that protrudes from the tenon towards the tip of the shoe.
- the visible surface 5b of the tongue 5 is in the same plane as the visible surface 4a of the dovetail 4.
- This surface carries a lug 7 which thus protrudes from this plane when the tongue is at rest and which is retracted under this plane when the tongue 5 is erased in the housing 6 by action on the pusher 5a.
- the thin plate has extra thicknesses 8, 9 and 10, the first two being located at the front of the base in relation to the front of the shoe, on each side of the pin 4 la the third being located at the rear of this tenon, in the axis of the latter.
- Each overthickness constitutes the overmolding block for a metal insert 11, 12 and 13 which is a nut adapted to receive screws such as 14 and 15 of FIG.
- the heel 3 of the shoe has assembly means complementary to those of the base 2. They are constituted by a female dovetail 16, by a recess 17 formed in the base of this dovetail 16 and by recesses 18, 19 and 20, situated outside the female dovetail 16, in a relative arrangement identical to that of the extra thicknesses and tenon of the base 2.
- the base is attached to the foot part of the boot by means of the screws 14 and 15 which passes through the base of the rear part of the shoe as shown in FIG. 2. This binding is all the more stable as the three nuts 11, 12 and 13 are distant from each other.
- the base is permanently attached to the shoe.
- the heel is then slid on the base according to the arrow F of Figure 1.
- the dovetails engage one into the other until contact with the lug 7 with the front edge of the heel.
- the lug advantageously has a slope that avoids the blocking of the engagement movement, which continues by bending the tongue 5 inside the housing 6. At the end of the engagement, the lug 7 comes to lodge in the recess 17 of the heel by the elastic return of the tongue to its rest position. The heel is then locked on the base.
- the adjustment of the binding is tightened by the existence of a compressive stress of the heel between the inclined flanks of the female dovetail and the upper surface 3a of the heel, the dimensions of the latter as well as those of the base being provided for the purpose of giving rise to this prestressing assembly.
- the overthicknesses are smaller than those of the housing housing them so that there is no interference between them and the active means of assembly.
- the description above relates to a shoe, but the invention is not limited to this kind of shoe. It also relates to shoes with a technical function such as orthopedic shoes or shoes for sports or medical use.
- the footwear part of such a shoe is adapted to the support of the foot for the function or the exercise for which it is intended while the rear part of this footwear part, equipped with the base described above, can be equipped with an organ adapted to the nature of the support that one seeks to obtain (punctual by a sphere, decentered, ...)
