Abstract

A method and a device for preventing water ingress as a result of leak or failure of a lead-in 10 arranged in a shell separating an interior of a structure from water in contact with an exterior surface of the shell (20). The lead-in 10 is connected to a conduit 11. The method comprises the steps of providing a demarcation 1 around the lead-in 10, and the demarcation 1 being arranged such that a space around said lead-in is provided.
