Description
METHOD FOR CHECK-BOND STATUS INQUERY
The Related Art
The invention relates to a method for receiving information about status of negotiable papers such as checks, bonds etc. used in trading.
The invention particularly relates to a method for inquiry capable to eliminate the unnecessary work force loss in inquiry of negotiable papers such as checks, bonds etc., and to enable the persons to inquire the said documents through SMS/MMS and/or internet.
Background of the Related Art
Today it is clear that the society has become a society not using cash anymore. People use instruments such as credit cards, money cards and checks/bonds etc. instead of cash in any trading activities. The desire of not carrying cash for several reasons during last 20 years has made the society a "cashless society. Use of check-bonds which is one of the above mentioned payment instruments other than cash have been increasingly continuing because of its advantages despite non-trusting caused as a result of negative events. The most important difficulty for the user in respect, to use of checks-bonds in trading is the fact that the necessity of inquiry of the status of the said check-bond causes time loss. for the person and that the person is not able to access the inquiry at all times. Enquiry of negotiable papers such as checks-bonds is conducted by means of visiting bank during working times. Going to bank after stopping works, time loss wasted in banks due to busy traffic and failure to receive the needed information due to problems encountered in the system are all the reasons which have led the companies engaged in trade, activities to apply different payment means. The said enquiry causes unnecessary workforce/time loss while high telephone costs are encountered by those wishing to receive information on phone or the personnel in the banks. When a person goes to a bank for check-bond inquiry, one bank personnel specifically does his/her work and bank personnel also suffers from time loss due to long time taking process of information receiving. The banking personnel calls personnel of another bank to get information about the status of the check and thus two bank employees have to spare time for one enquiry at the same time and to spend their working time for this operation. When it is considered that several people go to bank for
inquiry operation, the huge amount of the time required to be spent for this operation by bank employees can be understood.
Problems are experienced in check-bond inquiry due to lack of information by and between organizations in existing embodiments and as a direct result thereof, people are to fight against problems such as dishonoured check. The fact that big amount of working times are spent because of dealing with such problems by people engaged in trade activities must be considered. In existing embodiments, in case of dishonoured checks, the concerned bank reports the dishonoured check and information about the account holder to Turkish Central Bank . The people exercising their rights to recover or those registered in check black list are notified to the banks by Turkish Central Bank. The people (account holders)in the status of banned from issuing checks or their attorneys and representatives are not issued check book by the banks for one year starting from 15th day following notice of Turkish Central Bank, and accounts operating on checks are not established in their names. It is clear that an inquiry method which records the said processes and the latest status information in a database and provides performance of inquiry by different communication means, preferably SMS and/or internet is needed.
When all the related art documents and existing embodiments are examined, no patent application relating to a method for inquiry of check-bond status information wherein people can perform the inquiry operation by SMS or internet without need to go to bank for negotiable papers such as check-bond inquiry has been seen.
As a result, the need for a method for check-bond inquiry eliminating unnecessary workforce and time loss and inadequacy of existing solutions in the related art have necessitated development in the related art.
