Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for applying a cosmetic product, of the type comprising:
  • a holder defining a receptacle for receiving at least a block of cosmetic product, the receptacle opening via an aperture for application of the cosmetic product, said aperture being defined in the holder, the holder comprising a plurality of separating/combing teeth projecting toward the exterior of the receptacle in the vicinity of the aperture;
  • the heating member being carried by the holder and being arranged in the vicinity of the aperture so as to heat the block of cosmetic product, at least locally.
  • cosmetic product means a product as defined in Council Directive 93/35/EEC of 14 June 1993.
  • An application device of this type deposits a cosmetic product on keratin fibres, such as hair or eyelashes, including artificial hair and false eyelashes.

  • “Mascara” means a composition which is to be applied to the eyelashes.
