Abstract

Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for increasing microbial expression of Coenzyme Q. These methods generally involve recombinant expression of heterologous enzymes in the microbe in order to increase metabolic production of Coenzyme Q generally or selectively produce Coenzyme QlO specifically.
