Abstract

Inhibitors of Hypoxia Inducible Factor (HIF) and angiogenesis, for example 2,2-dimethylbenzopyran compounds and derivatives thereof, and methods of their use including treatment of disorders leading to ischemia (e.g., stroke and ischemic heart disease), and non-cancerous angiogenic diseases are provided.
