  • Step 2 After gathering sufficient information the buyer wants to talk to someone in the company to clear a few issues. S/he establishes a voice call to the seller. During the conversation the seller's representative decides that it is time to bring in other experts. The user pulls them in to the conversation via an outbound call or by inviting him/her to join the conversation by an SMS. The new participant calls in using a phone VoIP/PSTN/mobile.
  • Step 3 The buyer is now ready to buy the product but has to complete a contract.
  • the seller's representative can now transfer the call to a different person who will assist the buyer in completing the form/contract document.
  • the seller turns on the video to give the buyer the comfort of who he is dealing with. Further he can take the form that is partially filled-in by the buyer and guide him to complete the form in collaborative manner.
  • Example 2 A secure communication mode using voice authentication is illustrated in figure 3 of the drawings.
  • Step 1 In an auction site the authenticity of the seller is important The seller registers with the auction site providing a 100-point check. The seller also leaves a voice imprint as a signature.
  • Step 2 A buyer wins the bid on the site and wants to connect with the seller to ensure that the items represented are indeed as they are.
  • the buyer is connected to the seller anonymously (that is, without disclosing phone numbers to each other).
  • the seller's voice is authenticated periodically to ensure the buyer that the person selling is the same as the one who has registered.
  • Step 3 The buyer wants to sight the object he is buying and the seller switches on the video capability to connect with buyer thus providing better security for the buyer.
  • Example 3 A secure communication mode using voice and face authentication is illustrated in figure 4 of the drawings.
  • Step 1 Member registers with the financial system using driver's licence photo ID or passport photo page. Member's voice is also registered as the reference audio attached with photo ID.
  • Step 2 Members calls the financial institution to conduct a transaction that required strong authentication.
  • Step 3 The representative from the financial institution calls the member via phone. During the conversation the voice of the member and that of the financial institution's representative is authenticated periodically by server during the conversation.
  • Step 4 The member's camera is turned on during the conversation and the biometric authentication carried out providing a feedback to the financial institution about the authenticity of the caller.
