Abstract

A method of transmitting a control signal in a wireless communication system includes allocating the control signal in a control channel region comprising at least one tile consisting of a plurality of subcarriers consecutive in a frequency domain on a plurality of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols in a time domain; and transmitting the control signal, wherein control signals for a plurality of user equipments are multiplexed in the tile. Accordingly, a control channel region can be configured in various manners, and thus control signals can be adaptively transmitted in various channel environments.
