Abstract

The present invention targets a substrate made of silicone elastomer coated with at least one anti-soiling film essentially constituted of a liquid precursor of a metal oxide and of a corresponding metal oxide which is: solid, photocatalytically active, and present in an amount of at least 3%, preferably 6% and, more preferably still, of at least 10%, in its crystalline form most active for the promotion of the photocatalysis; a method for preparing this substrate, a composite comprising this substrate and its preparation method, a manufactured article and its manufacturing process and the use of a photocatalytically-active metal oxide in an anti-soiling film covering a silicone elastomer substrate.
