Abstract

A system and method for controlling access to earth moving, construction and mining equipment and vehicles. The system has a display, an operator input device, a central database with unique 64 Bit unalterable ID, operator personal details,licensing information and voice and text files in own language.Un-authorised access will notify the user in the language identifed with the operator input device to contact his/her supervisor. Authorised access will welcome the operator in his/her own language via a vioce file and text message e.g.; 'Welcome to Acqumine Fleet Management System' and grant the operator access to the vehicle and system functionality.
