Abstract

An apparatus for creating a force downhole is described. The apparatus comprises a tubular body defining a chamber, a plug, the plug being moveable between a first position at a first chamber location to a second position at a second chamber location, a latch adapted to releasably fix the plug in the first position and a latch release mechanism adapted to release the latch.
