Description
The present invention relates to a LED lighting lamp using a lighting source of LEDs which emit various colors depending on the kinds of devices, and in particular to a LED lighting lamp having an adjustable lighting direction in which even when a circular lighting lamp cover rotates, with a strap shaped PCB having LEDs being installed, outer electrode rods formed at both ends of a lighting lamp cover are not escaped from sockets while maintaining a reliable electrical connection state and rotating along with the lighting lamp cover, so it is possible to easily adjust a lighting direction of light from the LEDs.
Generally, a lighting lamp is generally used in a product shop such as a department store, a huge size DC mart and the like where various products are exhibited and sold for lighting exhibited products arranged in a showcase.
In order to light the products exhibited in a showcase in a conventional art, an incandescent lamp or a fluorescent lamp is generally used. The incandescent lamp is cheap, but it consumes a lot of power, and its lifespan is short. In addition, the incandescent lamp is not good for the products arranged in a showcase because it generates a lot of heat. The fluorescent light is more expensive than the incandescent lamp, but it does not consume a lot of power and its lifespan is longer, and it generates less heat than the incandescent lamp when turning on. So, more fluorescent lamps are used as a product lighting lamp in a department store.
Since the fluorescent light uses 220V or 110V like the incandescent lamp, it needs a lot of power consumption, and generates a lot of heat when turning on.
In recent years, a lighting lamp formed of a plurality of LEDs is used, which needs less power consumption and can be turned on with a lower level of power. The LED has a feature that light is radiated in one direction unlike incandescent lamp or fluorescent light radiates light in all directions. So when the LED is used so as to light the products arranged in a showcase, it lights in a set direction, so it is impossible to light the products when their exhibited positions are changed.
Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a LED lighting lamp having an adjustable lighting direction which overcomes the problems encountered in the conventional art.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a LED lighting lamp having an adjustable lighting direction in which an outer electrode rod protruded from both ends of a lighting lamp cover having a circular cross section like a conventional fluorescent lamp can rotate while being electrically connected with a socket formed at both ends of a lighting lamp casing for thereby adjusting a lighting direction of light from a plurality of LEDs which are engaged in the interior of a lighting lamp cover by rotating the lighting lamp cover, so that it is possible to light the products, when their exhibited positions are changed, by rotating the lighting lamp cover.
To achieve the above objects, in a LED lighting lamp which uses a plurality of LEDs as a lighting source which are arranged on a strap shaped PCB at regular intervals, there is provided a LED lighting lamp having an adjustable lighting direction which comprises outer electrode rods which are protruded from both ends of a lighting lamp cover having a circular cross section with inner diameters dimensioned enough for an insertion of the PCB for supplying electric power to the LEDs arranged on the PCB at regular intervals; insertion holes which are formed in sockets for an insertion of the outer electrode rod, with the outer electrode rods formed in both ends of the lighting lamp cover being inserted into sockets; and a pair of electrode terminals which are disposed in the inner sides of the insertion holes of the sockets and are electrically connected with the outer electrode rods and elastically surround the outer electrode rods rotatably, wherein when the sockets are assembled to both ends of the lighting lamp casing equipped with a stabilizer, the outer electrode rods protruded from both ends of the lighting lamp cover are rotatably and electrically connected with the electrode terminals through the insertion holes of the sockets.
A tooth-shaped protrusion is formed on an outer surface of each outer electrode rod protruded from the both ends of the lighting lamp cover, respectively, for thereby enhancing a rotational friction with the electrode terminals engaged in the interior of each socket.
At least one friction part is formed in the electrode terminals engaged in the inner sides of the insertion holes of the sockets engaged to the both ends of the lighting lamp casing for enhancing a rotational friction force with the protrusions formed on the outer surfaces of the outer terminal rods protruded from the both ends of the lighting lamp cover.
In the present invention, when an exhibited product has changed its exhibition position, it is possible to effectively and intensively light the position-changed product using the light from each LED through a transparent lighting part by rotating a lighting lamp cover, which is assembled and electrically connected with the outer electrode rod in the sockets engaged to the both ends of a lighting lamp casing, in forward, backward or leftward, rightward directions and then by stopping the same at a certain angle. So a lighting effect of an exhibited product can be significantly enhanced.

In a LED lighting lamp which uses a plurality of LEDs as a lighting source which are arranged on a strap shaped PCB at regular intervals, there is provided a LED lighting lamp having an adjustable lighting direction which comprises outer electrode rods which are protruded from both ends of a lighting lamp cover having a circular cross section with inner diameters dimensioned enough for an insertion of the PCB for supplying electric power to the LEDs arranged on the PCB at regular intervals; insertion holes which are formed in sockets for an insertion of the outer electrode rod, with the outer electrode rods formed in both ends of the lighting lamp cover being inserted into sockets; and a pair of electrode terminals which are disposed in the inner sides of the insertion holes of the sockets and are electrically connected with the outer electrode rods and elastically surround the outer electrode rods rotatably, wherein when the sockets are assembled to both ends of the lighting lamp casing equipped with a stabilizer, the outer electrode rods protruded from both ends of the lighting lamp cover are rotatably and electrically connected with the electrode terminals through the insertion holes of the sockets.
The LED lighting lamp having an adjustable lighting direction according to the present invention will be described in details with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a disassembled perspective view illustrating a LED lighting lamp according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 is a view of an assembled state of a LED lighting lamp according to the present invention.
Figure 3 is a cross sectional view of an assembled state of an outer electrode rod of sockets and lighting lamp cover of the lighting lamp casing according to the present invention. Figure 4 is a cross sectional view of a LED lighting lamp according to the present invention. Figures 5 and 6 are cross sectional views of a lighting lamp cover according to another embodiment of the present invention.
In the drawings, reference numeral 1 represents a LED lighting lamp. The LED lighting lamp 1 includes a lighting lamp casing 2 whose both ends are fixedly equipped with sockets 2a and 2b, respectively, and a lighting lamp cover 5 equipped with a PCB 4 in which a plurality of LEDs 3 are assembled at regular intervals.
The lighting lamp cover 5 of the LED lighting lamp 1 has a circular cross section having a certain inner diameter for an insertion of the PCB 4, with insertion grooves 51 being opposite to both sides of its inner side, with the both ends of the PCB 4 being inserted into the insertion grooves 51.
The fixing caps 52 and 53 are assembled to both ends of the lighting lamp cover 5, and outer electrode rods 54 and 55 are protruded from the fixing caps 52 and 53, respectively. The outer electrode rods 54 and 55 protruded from the fixing caps 52 and 53 are electrically connected with both ends of the PSB 4 inserted into the inner side of the lighting lamp cover 5 for thereby supplying power to each LED 3 arranged in the PCB 4 at regular intervals. An electric cable extended from both ends of the PCB 4 is electrically connected with the outer electrode rods 54 and 55 in the inner sides of the fixing caps 52 and 53.
Handles 52a and 53a are protruded from one side, respectively and are formed in the fixing caps 52 and 53. The handles are used for an easier rotation of the lighting lamp cover 2.
An engaging protrusion 22 is protruded from an upper side of the insertion assembling part 21 of the sockets 2a and 2b assembled to both ends of the lighting lamp casing 2 of the LED lighting lamp 1. The engaging protrusion 22 is elastically compressed when the insertion assembling part 21 is inserted into both ends of the lighting lamp casing 2, and is elastically uncompressed from the assembling hole 23 formed in the upper sides of both ends of the lighting lamp casing 2 when the insertion of the insertion assembling part 21 is completed, so the sockets 2a and 2b are fixedly engaged when the are assembled to the both ends of the lighting lamp casing 2.
The present invention is characterized in that the outer electrode rods 54 and 55 protruded from both ends of the lighting lamp cover 5 are electrically connected with the sockets 2a and 2b fixed to both ends of the lighting lamp cover 2, and at the same time the outer electrode rods 54 and 55 are not escaped from the sockets 2a and 2b while allowing the lighting lamp cover 5 to rotate, so it is possible to adjust the lighting direction of light from each LED 3 of the PCB 4 disposed in the interior of the lighting lamp cover 5.
An insertion hole 24 is formed in the centers of the inner sides being opposite to both sockets 2a and 2b for an insertion of the outer electrode rods 54 and 55, respectively, and a pair of electrode terminals 25 are disposed in the inner sides of the sockets 2a and 2b, while being elastically widened by means of the outer electrode rods 54 and 55 inserted into the insertion hole 24 for thereby elastically surrounding and supporting the outer electrode rods 54 and 55.
A connection terminal 26 is formed in one side of each socket 2a, 2b and is connected with the connector 6 for supplying power. The connection terminal 26 formed in the socket 2a is elastically connected with a stabilizer 27 engaged in the interior of the lighting lamp casing 5. The electrode terminals 25 engaged in the insertion hole 24 of the sockets 2a and 2b are configured to receive the power supplied from the stabilizer 27 through an electric cable.
The outer electrode rods 54 and 55 protruded from both ends of the lighting lamp cover 5 and elastically supported by means of the electrode terminals 25 through the insertion holes 24 of the sockets 2a and 2b are equipped with tooth-shaped protrusions 56 on their outer surfaces so as to maintain the stopped states of the lighting lamp cover 5 at a certain angle with the helps of a friction operation with the electrode terminals 25 when the lighting lamp cover 5 is rotated by a certain angle. At least one friction part 28 is formed on each electrode terminal 25 formed in the inner sides of the sockets 2a and 2b, respectively, for increasing a rotational friction with the protrusion 56 formed on each outer surface of the outer electrode rods 54 and 55. The friction part 28 is outwardly protruded with respect to the outer electrode rods 54 and 55 electrically supported by means of the electrode terminals 25.
The LED lighting lamp 1 is assembled along with the lighting lamp cover 5 when assembling the sockets 2a and 2b to both ends of the lighting camp casing 2. The outer electrode rods 54 and 55 protruded from both ends of the lighting lamp cover 5 are inserted into the insertion holes 24 of the sockets 2a and 2b fixedly engaged to both ends of the lighting lamp casing 2, and the fixing caps 52 and 53 are reliably assembled between the sockets 2a and 2b while not escaping from the same.
The lighting lamp cover 5 is not escaped between the sockets 2a and 2b fixedly attached to both ends of the lighting lamp casing 2. Since the outer electrode rods 54 and 55 elastically supported by means of the electrode terminals 25 engaged to the sockets 2a and 2b can rotate, so its rotation can be obtained.
The lighting lamp cover 5 of the LED lighting lamp 1 is made of a transparent material through its whole parts so the light from the LEDs 3 installed in the PCB 4 at regular intervals can be visibly transmitted to the outside. The transparent circular cross section is shown in Figure 4. As shown in Figure 5, a semicircular transparent cover 5a and a semicircular non-transparent cover 5b might be separately formed with their cross sections being semicircular. As shown in Figure 6, the semicircular transparent covers 5a and the semicircular non-transparent cover 5c with a plurality of heat radiation plates 57 might be separately formed and assembled in circular cross sections.
The LED lighting lamp 1 according to the present invention is supplied in a state that the lighting lamp casing 2 and the lighting lamp cover 5 are assembled. When a user wants to light various products exhibited on a showcase using the LED lighting lamp 1, the lighting lamp casing 2 of the LED lighting lamp 1 is fixed to an inner wall of the showcase or on a bottom of a shelf, and the lighting lamp cover 5 attached between the sockets 2a and 2b fixed at both ends of the lighting lamp casing 2 is rotated in forward, backward, right ward or leftward. So it is possible to adjust the lighting direction of light from the LEDs 3 installed in the PCB 4 inserted into an inner side of the lighting lamp cover 5.
When the lighting lamp cover 5 assembled between the sockets 2a and 2b is rotated, the outer electrode rods 54 and 55 inserted into the sockets 2a and 2b through the insertion holes 24 rotate together. Since the electrode terminal 25 engaged to the sockets 2a and 2b are elastically supported by means of the outer sides of the outer electrode rods 54 and 55, the lighting lamp cover 5 can rotate in a direction that the rotation force is applied upon a forced rotation by a user, and in a state that the lighting lamp cover 5 is rotated by a certain angle, when the rotation is stopped, the electrode terminals 25 engaged in the sockets 2a and 2b stop the outer electrode rods 54 and 55 from rotating. At this time, the outer electrode rods 54 and 55 and the electrode terminals 25 have increased friction forces with the helps of the protrusions 56 and the friction part 28, sp the lighting lamp cover 5 can be fixed at an angle that the user rotates by force.
When the user has changed an exhibition position of products on a shelf of a certain showcase, the LEDs 3 can intensively light the products at the changed positions by rotating the lighting lamp cover 5 of the LED lighting lamp 1.
When it is needed to rotate the lighting lamp cover 5 in order to adjust the lighting direction of the LED lighting lamp 1, it is possible to easily rotate the lighting lamp cover 5 in a desired direction by pulling or pushing the handles 52a and 53a protruded from the sockets 52 and 53 attached to the both ends of the lighting light cover 5.
As shown in Figures 5 and 6, there is shown a lighting lamp cover 5 formed as a semicircular transparent cover 5a and a semicircular non-transparent covers 5b and 5c are assembled in a circular shape. In this case, the light from the LEDs 3 installed in the PCB 4 does not transmit the semicircular non-transparent covers 5b and 5c but transmit the semicircular transparent cover 5a, so it is possible to more intensively light the products. In case of the lighting lamp cover 5 having the heat radiation plate 57, the head from each LED 3 can be discharged to the outside, and the lifespan of the LEDs 3 can be prolonged.
