Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing medium distillates from a paraffinic charge produced by Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, implementing a hydrocracking/hydroisomerization catalyst containing at least one hydro-dehydrogenating metal selected from the group of metals of periodic classification Group VIB and Group VIII and a substrate formed from at least one amorphous material containing silicon having hierarchical and organized porosity, consisting of at least two elementary spherical particles, each of said particles including a mesostructured silicon oxide matrix having a mesopore diameter of 1.5 to 30 nm and having amorphous microporous walls of a thickness of 1.5 to 50 nm, said elementary spherical particles having a maximum diameter of 200 microns.
