Abstract

Formulations and herbal medicated threads made therefrom are provided. The formulations comprise fresh herbal latex and surfactants, wherein constituents of the latex are obtained from latex producing plants. A process for preparing said formulations as well as a process for making herbal medicated threads, and their uses in the treatment of ano-rectal diseases and non-healing lesions of the body are also provided.
