A setting-up device for flat knitting machine that allows freely detaching of a setting-up yarn from a setting-up needle and ensures easy low-cost working of the setting-up needle and that even in the event of a decrease of downward tension to a knitted fabric during knitting operation, is free from accidental disengagement of the setting-up yarn from the setting-up needle. In the setting-up device (1), each setting-up needle (3) comprises a pair of setting-up needles consisting of, disposed in opposite relationship, a first setting-up needle (5) and a second setting-up needle (6). When an interlock part (9) of the first setting-up needle (5) and an interlock part (10) of the second setting-up needle (6) are in interlocking positional relationship, the interlock part (9) at its inferior area (9a) is capable of holding a setting-up yarn (50). When the interlock parts are not in interlocking positional relationship, the setting-up yarn (50) cannot be held up.

Description

Setting device in flat knitting machine
The present invention relates to a set-up device in a flat knitting machine that can freely remove a set-up yarn from a set-up needle.
The flat knitting machine is provided below the lip of the front and back needle beds. As the set-up part of the knitted fabric, tension is applied to the knitted fabric by pulling down the supplied set-up yarn and the knitting needle is locked. A set-up device for pulling down the knitted fabric is provided until the knitted fabric is clamped by the roller type lowering device so that the stitches that are made do not come off the knitting needle.
Among such set-up devices, for example, a set-up device disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 3-77298 has been proposed as a set-up device that can freely remove a set-up yarn from a set-up needle after the knitted fabric is pulled down.
This set-up device includes a set-up needle 80 formed by combining the slider 81 shown in FIG. 9 and the set-up needle body 82 shown in FIG. 10 as shown in FIGS.
More specifically, the set-up needle 80 is a set-up needle comprising a set-up needle body 82 and a slider 81 slidably combined with the set-up needle body 82 along the longitudinal direction of the set-up needle body 82. The slider 81 has a hook 83 facing forward at its upper end, and an engaging portion 84 for connecting to a lifting mechanism for raising and lowering only the slider 81 at its lower end. On the other hand, the set-up needle body 82 has a vertically extending long groove 85 for slidably receiving the slider 81 along the longitudinal direction, and the set-up needle body 82 with respect to the comb bed (set-up needle working plate). Engagement portions 86 and 87 are fixed on the rear surface so as to be fixed so as not to move up and down.
Further, the slider 81 is configured to move up and down by a predetermined stroke as a relative positional relationship with the set-up needle body 82 in the long groove 85, and the set-up needle body 82 has a slider at the upper end of the front surface thereof. When 81 is pushed up to the uppermost position in the set-up needle main body 82, the hook 83 of the slider 81 is stored therein, and when the slider 81 is slightly lowered from the uppermost position, the hook 83 of the slider 81 is positioned immediately below the set-up needle main body 82. A forward-facing hook storage projection 88 configured to be exposed from the exposure.
When the set-up yarn 80 is pulled down by the set-up needle 80, first, the set-up needle 80 protrudes from the tooth opening between the front and back needle beds in a state in which the hook 83 of the slider 81 is stored in the hook storage projection 88. And positioned above the set-up yarn fed in the horizontal direction. Next, as shown in FIG. 11, only the slider 81 is slightly lowered to expose the hook 83 below the hook storage projection 88. When the set-up needle 80 is lowered in this state, the set-up yarn is caught by the hook 83, and the set-up yarn can be pulled down. On the other hand, when removing the set-up yarn from the set-up needle 80, the set-up yarn can be detached from the hook 83 by slightly raising the slider 81 and storing the hook 83 in the hook storing projection 88.
However, as shown in FIG. 12, this set-up needle 80 has to form a vertical groove 85 in the set-up needle body 82 for receiving the slider 81 slidably along the longitudinal direction. Forming such a long groove in the set-up needle body 82 that requires toughness has a difficulty in processing and has been a factor of high cost. Further, since the set-up needle 80 employs a method in which the set-up yarn is hooked on the downward hook 83 and pulled downward, the set-up yarn is detached from the hook 83 when the downward tension on the knitted fabric is loosened during knitting. There was a case.

A set-up device in a flat knitting machine having a plurality of set-up needles 3 and a raising / lowering means 4 for raising and lowering the set-up needle action plate 2, wherein each set-up needle 3 is a first arranged oppositely. The first set-up needle 5 includes a set-up needle including a set-up needle 5 and a second set-up needle 6, the first set-up needle 5 has a concave portion 7, the second set-up needle 6 has a convex portion 8, and the first set-up needle 5 and the second set-up needle 7 are configured such that the relative positional relationship can be changed in the vertical direction, and the concave portion 7 of the first set-up needle 5 and the convex portion 8 of the second set-up needle 6 are engaged. In this case, the set-up yarn 50 is held under the engaging portions 9 and 10 of both. Possible and will, yarn 50 devised if the convex portion 8 there is both a positional relationship does not engage the recess 7 of the first set-up needle 5 second devised needle 6 is configured to be disabled retaining. Hereinafter, each configuration will be sequentially described in detail with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIG. 6, the set-up needle action plate 2 projects the set-up needle 3 from the tooth opening 43 between the front and rear needle beds 41 and 42, holds the set-up yarn with the set-up needle 3, and then pulls it downward. It is arranged below the tooth opening 43 between the front and back needle beds 41 and 42 so as to be movable up and down as indicated by an arrow g.
As shown in FIG. 5, a large number of set-up needles 3 are attached to the set-up needle action plate 2 so that the upper portions thereof protrude. In FIG. 5, only four pairs of set-up needles 3 are drawn on one end side (right side in the figure) of the set-up needle working plate 2, but the set-up needles 3 are omitted set-up needles extending in the horizontal direction. The other end side (left side in the figure) of the action plate 2 is similarly attached.
As shown in FIG. 5, the raising / lowering means 4 for raising and lowering the set-up needle action plate 2 includes a pair of rails 11 fixed to the machine frame on both sides of the set-up needle action plate 2 and a lower portion of the set-up needle action plate 2. The sliding body 12 is fixed and slidably attached to the rail 11, and an elevating drive chain (not shown) connected to the sliding body 12. Note that the rail 11 on the other end side on the left side in FIG. 5 is omitted together with the set-up needle action plate 2 extending toward the other end side.
The set-up needle action plate 2 can be moved up and down along the rails 11. At the highest position, the set-up needle 3 is protruded from the teeth 43 between the front and back needle beds 41 and 42 as shown in FIG. After the set-up yarn 3 is held by the set-up needle 3, the knitted fabric is pulled down by the attached set-up needle 3 until the knitted fabric is clamped by the roller type lowering device at the lowest position.
As shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. 5, the set-up needle 3 is composed of a pair of set-up needles composed of a first set-up needle 5 and a second set-up needle 6 which are arranged to face each other. As shown in FIG. 3, the first set-up needle 5 has a recessed portion 7 in an engaging portion 9 provided near the upper portion, and an L-shaped fixing portion 5a for fixing the set-up needle working plate 2 to the lower portion. have. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 4, the second set-up needle 6 has a convex portion 8 that engages with the concave portion 7 of the first set-up needle 5 in the engaging portion 10 provided near the upper portion, and at the lower portion, An L-shaped fixing portion 6a for fixing to a second set-up needle support plate 16 to be described later is provided.
The relative position of the first set-up needle 5 and the second set-up needle 6 is configured to be slightly variable in the vertical direction. As shown in FIG. 1, the concave portion 7 of the first set-up needle 5 and the second set-up needle 5 In the case where both are in the positional relationship with which the six convex portions 8 are engaged, the set-up yarn 50 can be held at the lower portion of the engaging portions 9 and 10 and pulled down. The first set-up needle 5 or the second set-up needle 6 of this embodiment has the concave portions 7 or the convex portions 8 in the engaging portions 9 and 10, but is not limited to this. Forms in which the set-up yarn 50 can be held when the engaging portion is engaged are widely included.
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, when there is a positional relationship where the concave portion 7 of the first set-up needle 5 and the convex portion 8 of the second set-up needle 6 are not engaged with each other, the set-up yarn 50 is the first set-up needle. 5 can pass through the concave portion 7 and cannot be held.
Further, the engaging portion 9 of the first set-up needle 5 and the engaging portion 10 of the second set-up needle 6 are formed on slopes whose upper ends are inclined obliquely downward on the opposite sides. As a result, when the set-up needle is raised and comes into contact with the set-up yarn, the set-up needle slips on the slope of the set-up needle without the set-up needle hooking the set-up yarn, and the set-up needle is smoothly moved above the set-up yarn. Can be located.
Furthermore, the engaging portion 9 of the first set-up needle and the engaging portion 10 of the second set-up needle 6 are formed on slopes whose lower end portions are inclined obliquely upward on the opposite sides. As a result, when the set-up needle is lowered and comes into contact with the set-up yarn, the set-up needle slides on the slope of the set-up needle without the set-up needle hooking the set-up yarn, and the set-up yarn is smoothly removed from the set-up needle. be able to.
The elevating mechanism 13 is a mechanism that raises or lowers one of the first set-up needle 5 and the second set-up needle 6 so that the other can change the relative positional relationship in the vertical direction with respect to the other. In this embodiment, the elevating mechanism 13 is configured to raise and lower the second set-up needle 6 relative to the first set-up needle 5 so that the relative positional relationship between the two sets can be changed.
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 5, the elevating mechanism 13 is fixed to the lower part of the set-up needle action plate 2 and extends horizontally in the motor base 14 and the lower part of the set-up needle action plate 2 and in the horizontal direction. It has a drive plate 15 disposed so as to be capable of reciprocating, and a second set-up needle support plate 16 that extends horizontally above the drive plate 15 and moves up and down.
The drive lever 18 attached to the motor 17 of the motor base 14 transmits the rotational movement (arrow h) by the motor 17 to the drive plate 15 with the pin 19 as a fulcrum. At this time, the working bearing 20 interposed between the drive lever 18 and the drive plate 15 converts the rotational motion by the motor 17 into the reciprocating motion (arrow k) of the drive plate 15 in the horizontal direction. Further, the reciprocating motion of the drive plate 15 in the horizontal direction is converted into a lifting motion (arrow m) of the second set-up needle support plate 16 by the groove cam 21. As a result, the second set-up needle 6 is configured such that the relative positional relationship in the vertical direction can be changed with respect to the first set-up needle 5 fixed to the set-up needle working plate 2.
Furthermore, the first set-up needle 5 and the second set-up needle 6 are alternately arranged between the front and back needle beds 41 and 42 as shown in FIG. 7 or FIG. The crossing portion of the set-up yarn when the set-up yarn 50b of the reverse course is alternately wound around the three jumping knitting needles is connected to the engaging portion 9 of the first set-up needle 5 and the second set-up needle 6. The set-up yarn 50 is disposed so as to be held down at the joint portion 10 and can be pulled down.
Specifically, first, as shown in FIG. 7, three continuous knitting needles R1, R2, and R3 on the rear needle bed 42 and three consecutive knitting needles R1, R2, and R3 are consecutive. Three continuous knitting needles F4, F5, F6 of a front needle bed 41 provided at a position facing the knitting needles R4, R5, R6 are advanced to the working position, and these knitting needles R1, R2, R3 and the knitting needles After the forward course set-up yarn 50a is fed to F4, F5, F6, the knitting needles R1, R2, R3 and the knitting needles F4, F5, F6 are retracted, and the forward course set-up yarn 50a is placed between the front and back needle beds 41, 42. Alternately.
Next, as shown in FIG. 8, three continuous knitting needles R4, R5, R6 on the rear needle bed 42, and three knitting needles R1 continuous to the next positions of these knitting needles R4, R5, R6. , R1, R1, three continuous knitting needles F1, F2, F3 of the front needle bed 41 provided at a position facing to R1, R1 are advanced to the working position, and these knitting needles R4, R5, R6 and knitting needles F1, F2, After the forward course set-up yarn 50b is fed to F3, the knitting needles R4, R5, R6 and the knitting needles F1, F2, F3 are retracted, and the back course set-up yarn 50b is alternately hung between the front and back needle beds 41, 42. hand over.
The intersecting portions of the set-up yarns 50 that are alternately stretched between the front and back needle beds 41 and 42 are set to the set-up needles 3 (specifically, the engaging portions 9 of the first set-up needles 5 and the second set-up needles 6). The set-up yarn 50 can be pulled downward by being held by the engaging portion 10). By pulling the set-up yarn 50 at such an intersecting portion, the number of set-up needles can be reduced, and the set-up yarn 50 is held by three continuous knitting needles, and the set-up yarn 50 is stretched between them. It is possible to use an inexpensive set-up yarn having no property.
Furthermore, a set-up method using the set-up device 1 in the flat knitting machine of the present invention will be described.
First, before starting to knit a knitted fabric, the setting-up action plate 2 is made to stand by under the mouth opening between the front and back needle beds 41 and 42 by the lifting means 4. At this time, the engaging portion 10 of the second set-up needle 6 is positioned above the engaging portion 9 of the first set-up needle 5 by the action of the elevating mechanism 13 (state shown in FIG. 2). Then, at the mouth opening between the front and back needle beds 41 and 42, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the set-up yarn 50 is fed between the front and rear needle beds 41 and 42 and alternately hung.
Next, the set-up action plate 2 is raised by the elevating means 4, and the engaging portion 9 of the first set-up needle 5 and the engaging portion 10 of the second set-up needle 6 cross the intersecting portions of the set-up yarns 50 fed respectively. It stops at the uppermost position (state of FIG. 5). At this position, the elevating mechanism 13 is operated to lower the second set-up needle 5 to engage the engaging portion 9 of the first set-up needle 5 and the engaging portion 10 of the second set-up needle 6.
Thereafter, when the set-up action plate 2 is lowered by the elevating means 4, the engaging portion 9 of the first set-up needle 5 and the engaging portion 10 of the second set-up needle 6 are intersected with the set-up yarn 50 at the lower portion of the engaging portion. Is held and pulled down. The knitted fabric is knitted along with the pulling down, and when the knitted fabric is clamped by the roller type lowering device, the lifting mechanism 13 is operated to engage the engaging portion 10 of the second set-up needle 6 with the first set-up needle. When the engagement between the two engaging portions 9 is released and the engagement between the two is released, the set-up yarn 50 is removed from the set-up needle 3.
As described above, according to the set-up device 1 in the flat knitting machine of the present invention, the set-up yarn 50 is set up by engaging the first set-up needle 5 and the second set-up needle 6 which are arranged to face each other. It can be easily held by the needle 3. Further, the set-up yarn 50 can be easily removed from the set-up needle 3 by changing the relative positional relationship between the first set-up needle 5 and the second set-up needle 6 in the vertical direction and releasing the engagement between them. . Furthermore, the set-up needle is easily and inexpensively processed, and the set-up yarn 50 is engaged with the engagement portion 9 between the first set-up needle 5 and the second set-up needle 6 even when the downward tension on the knitted fabric is loosened during knitting. , 10 in the closed region, it will not come off from the set-up needle 3.
