Abstract
The invention relates to an OLED device (100) with an organic light emitting structure (30) between a first and a second electrode layer (20, 50). In order to limit currents that are generated by increased electrical field strengths (Ea), as they occur for example near defects (51) in an electrode layer (50), the device comprises at least one additional field-sensitive layer (40) the conductivity of which decreases with increasing strength of an electrical test field.
