Abstract

The invention relates to a calibrated pressure pliers for orthodontics, forming part of a kit including stops for correcting dental malocclusions, which, owing to the novel design thereof, can be used to measure between a tooth/bracket/arch/attachment or stop, in order to enable the elements required for the planned dental movement to be positioned precisely with the aid of markings, said device being divided into millimetres. A novel exchangeable blade enables the use of a pair of new blades, ensuring that the instrument is always optimally sharpened and enabling a level of performance excellence to be achieved, with the advantage that the pliers can be used as a cutting implement or, by removing the blade from body of the pliers, as a calibrated pressure pliers for orthodontics.
