Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle body structure (10) including a passenger compartment floor (20) having a tunnel (21) and at least one shaft (31, 32) for lining the tunnel (21), said shaft (31, 32) being extended by an exhaust stand (40) on one end thereof, and is characterized in that it also includes a reinforcing means (101, 102) disposed in the area of the connection between the shaft (31, 32) and the exhaust stand (40) to make said connection more rigid.
