Abstract

The present invention relates to a water purifier which can obtain purified water by passing crude water through at least one filter tank containing filters. The disclosed filter tank can control the ratio of the filtered water or unfiltered water bypassed compared to the total water flowing into each filter tank. Additionally, the disclosed water purifier can provide the desired qualities of the purified water using the filter tank. More specifically, the filter tank comprises: a tank housing containing filters, an inlet which is installed in the tank housing and lets in outside water, an outlet which is installed in the tank housing and lets out the inside water, and a bypass connecting the inlet and the outlet. Through the amount of water flowing in the bypass, the filter tank can control the ratio of water discharged to the outlet via the filter or water discharged to the outlet via the bypass instead of the filter compared to the total water supplied to the inlet.
