Abstract

L'invention concerne des capteurs tactiles qui imitent le bout de doigt humain et ses récepteurs de contact. Les composants mécaniques sont similaires à un bout de doigt, avec un noyau rigide entouré par un fluide faiblement conducteur contenu dans une peau élastomère. Les propriétés déformables du doigtier peuvent être utilisées comme partie d'un procédé de transduction. De multiples électrodes peuvent être montées sur la surface du noyau rigide et connectées à une circuiterie mesurant l'impédance dans le noyau. Des forces externes déforment la voie de fluide autour des électrodes, ce qui conduit à un modèle distribué de modification d'impédance contenant des informations au sujet de ces forces et des objets qui les appliquent. Des stratégies sont décrites pour extraire des caractéristiques liées aux entrées mécaniques et utiliser ces informations pour le contrôle de prise réflexif.
