Description

Money handling equipment
The present invention relates to a money handling apparatus, and more particularly to a money handling apparatus that identifies banknotes and classifies them into a plurality of stackers.
In recent years, banknote processing apparatuses that identify and classify banknotes are used in various industries. Banknote classification methods are diversified by industry. Therefore, there is a demand for a banknote processing apparatus that can handle various classification patterns.
2. Description of the Related Art As a conventional banknote processing apparatus that categorizes and accumulates a plurality of banknotes of different denominations by type such as denomination, for example, a banknote processing apparatus disclosed in US Pat. This banknote handling apparatus has a function of arbitrarily creating a classification pattern in which which types of banknotes are classified into a plurality of stackers, and classifies banknotes based on a classification pattern arbitrarily created by an operator. Can be integrated.
However, since the suitability of the created classification pattern varies depending on the processing conditions, trial and error using a plurality of classification patterns and operator experience are required to create an appropriate classification pattern. It takes a lot of time to create a classification pattern based on trial and error and operator experience. Therefore, the conventional banknote processing apparatus cannot create an appropriate classification pattern in a short time without using trial and error and operator experience. In particular, as the number of denominations of bills to be handled and the number of stacking parts increase, the variation of the classification pattern also increases, and it becomes more difficult to determine the suitability of the classification pattern.
The present invention has been made in consideration of such points, and according to the present invention, it is possible to shorten the time required to create an optimal classification pattern without using trial and error and operator experience. .

First, the processing contents of the banknote processing apparatus 100 according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 10 is a block diagram illustrating a configuration of data stored in the storage unit 124 according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
The storage unit 124 stores a control program 124A, configuration ratio data 124B, a pattern file 124C, and history data 124D. The control program 124A, the configuration ratio data 124B, and the pattern file 124C are the same as in the first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 11, the history data 124D is data including the date and time and the number of denominations. The number of denominations includes the number of front and back surfaces and the number of damages based on the identification result of the identification unit 104 for the banknote set in the receiving unit 102.
FIG. 12 is a flowchart showing the processing procedure of the composition ratio data creation processing according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention.
First, a reference condition for the history data 124D is received by the operation unit 116 (S1201). The reference condition is a period of history data 124D to be reflected in the configuration ratio data 124B.
(S1202)。 Next, the history data 124D as shown in FIG. 11 corresponding to the reference condition accepted in S1201 is referred to by the configuration ratio data creation unit 118 (S1202).
(S1203)。 Next, a configuration ratio as shown in FIG. 3 is generated by the configuration ratio data creation unit 118 based on the history data 124D referred to in S1202, and is written in the storage unit 124 as the configuration ratio data 124B. The composition ratio data creation process according to the second embodiment is finished (S1203).
In the second embodiment of the present invention, the operation unit 116 may receive an instruction as to whether or not the transaction count result is reflected in the history data 124D. For example, as shown in FIG. 13, when an instruction “1, start transaction reflection” is received, it is performed until an instruction “2, end transaction reflection” is received. When the count results of all transactions are reflected in the history data 124D and an instruction “3, do not reflect only the previous transaction” is accepted, only the count results of the immediately preceding transaction are not reflected in the history data 124D.
In the second embodiment of the present invention, the transaction counting result that is not reflected in the history data 124D may be stored in the storage unit 124.
According to the second embodiment of the present invention, since the composition ratio data 124B is created based on the history data 124D, an optimum classification pattern corresponding to the transaction history can be easily created.
Further, according to the second embodiment of the present invention, an instruction as to whether or not to reflect the transaction counting result in the history data 124D is accepted, so that a more appropriate classification pattern can be easily created.
