Abstract
A wireless mobile device, wireless communication system and method for automatically switching data channels in the wireless mobile device uses a content stamp matrix that includes content features and time stamps of services available on the data channels to determine at least one of the content features that matches any of reference content features in a content feature preference list. A matched content feature is then used to automatically switch to a data channel of a service associated with the matched content feature using a time stamp that correspond to the matched content feature based on priority of a matched reference content feature in the content feature preference list.
