Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés de fabrication d'un produit travaillé en bois. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à: orienter deux ou davantage d'ensembles de pièces de bois afin de former une nappe de pièces orientées, ladite nappe comprenant une couche centrale prise en sandwich entre deux couches de surface, au moins un des ensembles de pièces de bois comprenant au moins une résine de phénol-formaldéhyde (PF); préchauffer à la vapeur au moins une partie de la nappe de pièces orientées; et traiter la ou les résine(s) PF, le traitement comprenant l'étape consistant à soumettre au moins une partie de la nappe de pièces orientées à au moins une des conditions suivantes: température élevée, pression élevée et énergie rayonnante; et l'exposition est partiellement mise en œuvre pendant qu'au moins une partie de la vapeur provenant du préchauffage à la vapeur se trouve dans la couche centrale.
