Abstract

The landing net and scales combination comprises of any type of landing net used for angling ( eg. Salmon Net, Trout Net, Carp Net, etc) with set of scales, built into the handle of the nets, a locking device is also attached to the handle. This comprises of two studs one each side a double sided hook is attached to the said studs, when the net is not in use. When a fish is in the net the handle is held vertically the locking device is released and the fish can be weighed immediately without removal from the net. This method of weighing causes less trauma to any fish that are to be released also less work for the Angler.

DESCRIPTION
LANDING NET & SCALES COMBINATION
The landing net and scales combination, comprises of any type of landing net ; extending or otherwise; eg. Salmon, trout, carp, pike, etc. with an in-built set of weighing scales.
A spring is built into either side of an extending handle, a locking device comprising of a hook and stud prevent the handle stretching when not in use, when the angler wishes to weigh the fish that he has landed he holds the top half of the nets' handle vertically, releases the locking device the in-built spring stretches to reveal a set of scales pre-marked on the lower part of the handle. The weight of the fish can then be checked without the need to handle the fish, causing unnecessary stress and the
Angler time and work.

LANDING NETAND SCALES COMBINATION
The only Technical feature that separates the Landing Net And Scales Combination is the fact that no other landing Net extending or otherwise has a built-in set of scales for Weighing fish in the net.
