DESCRIPTION Field of application The present invention refers to the technical field of motorcycle accessories. In particular, the invention concerns a dismountable grip for the passenger. Prior art
It is known from EP-A-1410983 to removably associate a pair of handles for the passenger to a motorcycle, in particular to the flange of the fuel tank cap. It is also known from EP-A-1516808 to have a grip for the passenger of the motorcycle, equipped with a fast attachment system to the tank through bayonet joint. In greater detail, according to such prior art, the grip comprises a bearing element, in this case a substantially circular base, able to be engaged through bayonet joint on a suitable flange fixed to the fuel tank cap of the motorcycle. Said base carries a pair of cylindrical pins, which support respective handgrips (right and left), preferably curved in the direction of the fuel tank of the motorcycle near to the free end, and coated with a soft material with a high friction coefficient for comfortable use and so as not to ruin the tank. The handgrips are associated with the respective cylindrical pin by means of a hinge, for the positioning of the handgrip itself with predetermined angulation. The bayonet joint is also equipped with a safety lock, through pins, which prevent the accidental rotation of the flange with respect to the counterflange and, therefore, the accidental disengagement of the joint. Such a grip has numerous advantages, including: quick attachment and release
from the fuel tank cap of the motorcycle, versatility of adaptation to different models of motorcycle; easy installation also by garages or by the user himself; practical use thanks to the aforementioned joint and the safety lock that prevent any accidental detachment. The present invention is aimed to further perfect and improve the passenger grips of the aforementioned type, with particular reference to ease of use, practicality of assembly and disassembly onto and from the motorcycle, and safety.
Summary of the invention The purposes outlined above are accomplished with a motorcycle accessory, suitable for making a grip for a passenger, said accessory comprising at least one bearing element able to be associated with the motorcycle and supporting a handgrip, characterised in that said handgrip comprises a head portion, associated with said bearing element, and a distal portion, suitable in use to act as a grip for the passenger, said distal portion being separably associated with said head portion of the handgrip.
According to one aspect of the invention, quick attachment and release means are provided between said head portion and said distal portion that is separable from the handgrip. According to a preferred embodiment, the quick connection means are made in the following way: the head portion of the handgrip comprises at least one engagement pin, and the distal portion comprises at least one seat that can be engaged by said at least one pin following the coupling between the two handgrip portions. More preferably, said pin is housed in a suitable seat of the
head portion of the handgrip, associated with a contrast spring arranged to keep the pin normally in an engagement position, where the pin can engage the respective seat of the distal handgrip portion, said pin being able to move in contrast with said spring up to a disengagement position from the seat of the 5 head portion.
The pin is preferably axially recessed in the body of the head handgrip portion, being inserted into a cavity or hole and with the contrast spring coaxial to it. Even more preferably, the head portion of the handgrip comprises at least two pins, suitable for engaging respectively in a hole and in a slot of the distal
10 portion. The presence of said slot is advantageous since it allows to rotate the removable handgrip portion in order to make detachment easier, as will be more evident in the rest of the description.
In a preferred embodiment, the head portion and the distal handgrip portion are represented respectively by a shank, substantially comprising a cylindrical body
L 5 and a head portion associated with said bearing element, and by a handle portion made with a hollow tubular element, adapted to be inserted coaxially on said shank.
According to another aspect of the invention, the bearing element of the accessory is represented by a base adapted to be engaged on a suitable flange
: 0 that can be associated with the motorcycle, preferably at the cap of the fuel tank, said base supporting a pair of handgrips, right and left respectively, each of said handgrips having said head portion associated with the base and said removable distal portion. Preferably, said base can be connected to said flange through bayonet joint
means. Basically, the bayonet joint is such that the base of the accessory can be axially engaged on the flange, and locked with a rotation movement, thanks to a series of attachment fins provided on the base, which engage corresponding slits of the flange. Advantageously, a safety lock is also provided comprising at least one jack, and preferably two jacks, right and left respectively, associated with the base, able to be manually displaced in contrast with a spring between a disengagement position and an engagement position in corresponding holes of the flange fixed to the motorcycle, said engagement position corresponding to the engagement position of the bayonet joint, in this way making a mechanical (safety) block against the rotation of the base with respect to the flange. In accordance with another aspect of the invention, said base comprises safety stop means for each handgrip. In greater detail, each handgrip is connected to the base by a pin or more generally by a hinge, having a certain axis, and said stop means are arranged to determine an end stop position for the rotation of the handgrip with respect to the axis of said pin or hinge. Preferably, said safety stop means are made, for each handgrip, with an element fixedly connected to the base and engaged in a slot formed in the body of the handgrip. In a particularly preferred embodiment, said element is a pin fixed in a suitable hole of the base of the accessory, and engaged in a slot of the head handgrip portion shaped as a circular arc.
Such a safety element constitutes a further object of the invention. According to the present invention, therefore, an accessory for a motorcycle it provided, suitable for making a grip for a passenger, said accessory comprising at least
one bearing element able to be associated with the motorcycle and supporting a handgrip through a hinge, characterised in that it comprises safety stop means, suitable for defining a safety stop position of the rotation of said handgrip with respect to said hinge. Said bearing element is preferably made to fix to the through flange of the fuel tank cap of the motorcycle, which also receives the cap for closing it. Also forming the object of the invention is an assembly comprising at least one removable accessory for a motorcycle, as defined above. Preferably, said assembly comprises a flange, able to be fixed to the frame of a motorcycle and advantageously to the fuel tank cap, and an accessory represented by a base supporting a pair of handgrips, right and left respectively, said base and said flange being provided with quick and reversible connection means, advantageously represented by a bayonet joint. The assembly according to the invention can possibly also comprise the fuel tank of the motorcycle.
The invention can also be made as an assembly kit to equip a motorcycle with an additional grip for the passenger.
The object of the invention is also a motorcycle provided with an accessory, or prepared for the assembly of an accessory, as defined above. For example, a motorcycle can be prepared for the assembly of an accessory according to the invention, comprising at the origin means for attaching the accessory, such as the described flange associated with the fuel tank cap.
The invention brings the following improvements and advantages: the dismountable handgrips, with removable end portion, allow the grip to be
mounted and dismounted more easily, particularly in cases in which it is foreseen for there to be the bayonet joint and the rotation of the grip, necessary for the disengagement of the joint, is or can be blocked by a contact between the handgrips themselves and parts of the motorcycle, in particular the tank, according to the shape of the tank itself.
The dismountable handles also increase the possibilities of personalising the object and of adapting to different motorcycle models, and they can be replaced, for example if damaged. The described safety stop provides further safety especially in the case of loosening of the support pin of the handgrips.
The advantages of the invention shall become clearer with the following description, referring to preferred embodiments, and with the help of the figures. Brief description of the figures Fig. 1 partially shows a top side view of a motorcycle equipped with an accessory according to an embodiment of the invention.
Fig 2 shows the assembly of the accessory to the fuel tank cap of the motorcycle of fig. 1.
Fig. 3 shows the flange for attachment to the fuel tank cap of the accessory of fig. 1. Figs. 4A and 4B are two views of the base, supporting the passenger handgrips, of the accessory of fig. 1 and 2.
Fig. 5 shows a section of one of the safety locking pins of the accessory. Fig. 6 shows a section of a handgrip of the accessory of fig. 1-2, mounted. Fig. 7 schematically shows the assembly operation . of the two elements that
make up the handgrip of the accessory.
Fig. 8 shows an exploded view of an embodiment of the handgrips.
Figs. 9A and 9B show one of the handgrips of the accessory of figs. 1-2, partially sectioned in the head area, to depict the safety inner stop pin. Fig. 10 is an overall side view of the motorcycle of fig. 1 , equipped with the accessory.
Fig. 11 schematically shows a further simplified embodiment of the invention.
Detailed description of the invention
Fig. 1 shows a motorcycle 11 that amongst other things comprises a seat 13, for the driver and for a possible passenger, and a fuel tank 15. The fuel tank 15 is equipped with a bulkhead flange 17 that receives a cap 18 for closing the fuel tank.
An accessory generally indicated with 20 is associated with the motorcycle frame, in particular with said flange 17 of the fuel tank 15, and comprises two handgrips 21 that provide a grip for the passenger.
The accessory 20, in a preferred embodiment (fig. 2) can be associated with a flange 23 stably fixed to said bulkhead flange 17 of the fuel tank 15. A preferred embodiment of said flange 23 is shown in fig. 3. It is shaped substantially like an open ring, or "horseshoe shaped", and is equipped with passing-through holes 24 that correspond to as many threaded holes 17a (fig. 2) of the bulkhead flange 17, and basically allow the flange 23 to be firmly fixed to the cap of the fuel tank 15. The outer edge of the flange 23 is equipped with a plurality of seats 27 for coupling with the accessory 20, each of said seats 27 being formed substantially as an opening 28 communicating with a
circumferential slit 29.
The accessory 20 has a base 22 equipped with a central opening 25, substantially circular and having an inner diametric size such as to allow a coaxial coupling, with slight clearance, with the flange 23. A plurality of flaps 26 project from the edge of the base 22 that defines the opening 25, towards the centre of the opening itself, suitable for engaging in the seats 27 provided on the outer edge of the flange 23. There is preferably the same number of flaps 26 as seats 27. Each of the openings 28 is shaped like the flaps 26 and slightly larger in size than them, so as to be suitable for receiving one of the flaps 26 following the coaxial insertion of the base 22 on the underlying flange 23 according to fig. 2; moreover, each circumferential slit 29, formed in the thickness of the flange 23, has a height slightly greater than the thickness of the flaps 26, so that such a slit 29 can freely receive the flap 26, inserted in the opening 28, following a rotation of the base 22 with respect to the flange 23, said rotation being carried out when the base 22 is over the top of the flange 23, i.e. when the flaps 26 are completely inserted in the respective openings 28.
The flange 23, with the aforementioned seats 27, can advantageously be formed in a single piece, for example by casting, or else through a plurality of ring-shaped pieces piled up and packed together by the attachment screws.
The described flaps 26 and seats 27 make it possible to provide a bayonet joint of the base 22 on the flange 23, in which the base 22 is axially inserted onto the flange 23, according to a substantially vertical axis, i.e. perpendicular to the plane of fig. 1 , and locked with a rotation about the aforementioned axis, which
takes the flaps 26 to insert into the slits 29.
The base 20 also advantageously comprises two safety locking jacks 60, suitable for preventing the accidental rotation of the base 22 with respect to the flange 23 and, therefore, the accidental disengagement of the bayonet joint, after coupling.
One of said jacks 60 is shown in section in fig. 5. A pin 84 of the jack is supported inside a jacket 91 at an upper end 91a thereof. A spring 90 is housed between a recess 92 of the jacket 91 , at a lower end 91b thereof, and an end abutment 94a defined at an upper end 94a of a cylindrical pin 94. The cylindrical pin 94 is in turn fixed to the base 22 at a lower end 94b thereof and is crossed on the inside by the pin 84.
The locking pin 84, in use, inserts into holes 71 of two ears 70 of the flange 23, preventing the relative rotation between base 22 and flange 23. The base 22 (figs. 4A, 4B) shall now be described in greater detail. Said base 22 substantially comprises a flat central portion, which defines the opening 25, and two shoulders 30 that rise from the plane of the base 22 itself and of the central opening 25, and support the right and left handgrips 21. Each shoulder 30 defines a cavity 31 , where the head of the handgrip 21 can be inserted, supported with a pin 32, which in the example is obtained with a screw of suitable diameter. The axis of the pins 32 is roughly parallel to the plane of the base 22 of the grip and, as can be seen in the figures, the axes of the pins 32 converge towards the passenger, for the handgrip to be ergonomic. During assembly the screws 32 are suitably tightened, for example with a dynamometric key, to keep the handgrips 21 in a predetermined angular
position with respect to the base 22.
Each of the handgrips 21 substantially comprises a shank 33, the head of which 33c being connected to the shoulder 30 of the base 22 through the respective pin 32, and a handle portion 34 associated with said shank 33 by quick attachment/detachment means. The handles 34 are provided with an end insert 34a made of an elastomer to avoid ruining the fuel tank of the motorcycle, by contact.
In the example, the handle 34 is substantially represented by a shaped tube, with an end curved at 90°, which inserts coaxially on the body of the shank 33. Said shank 33 carries two pins 35 and 36, which engage respective seats 37, 38 of the handle 34. In greater detail (fig. 6) each of said pins 35, 36 is inserted into a respective seat 40, 41 in the body 33a (normally cylindrical) of the shank 33, and is axially returning in its own seat 40, 41 in contrast with a spring 44 coaxial to the pin and also inserted into the same seat 40, 41 ; a stop abutment 39 for the head 34a, 35a of each pin 34, 35, defines the end stop position and maximum protrusion of the pin with respect to the surface of the body 33a. The assembly of the pins and springs is fixed into the seats 40, 41 through a respective screw or a closing dowel 42, 43. In the example, the seats 40, 41 are represented by holes having a threaded part to receive the dowels 42, 43. The figure also shows the hole 33b of the head 33c of the shank 33, for housing the screw 32 acting as a support pin at the shoulder 30.
As can be seen in fig. 6, the pins 35 and 36, by the action of the springs 44, rest with the head 35a, 36a against the respective abutment 39, so that the ends of the pins themselves project outside of the side surface of the body 33a and
engage the seats 37 and 38, preventing the handle 34 of the handgrip from slipping out.
The insertion and withdrawal of the handle 34 is possible by pushing the pins back into the seats 40 and 41 , overcoming the resistance of the springs 44. Fig. 7 schematically shows the coupling operation between the handle 34 and thθ shank 33 of one of the handgrips 21.
At least one of the two seats 37, 38 is advantageously slot-shaped, allowing the handle 34 to be rotated with respect to the shank 33, by a certain angle. In the example, the pins 35, 36 are cylindrical, the seat 37 is a circular hole and the seat 38 is an arc-shaped slot, allowing to rotate the handle 34 by a certain angle, according to the axis, once the pin 35 has been disengaged from the hole 37. Advantageously, the pins 35, 36 are arranged with an axis substantially parallel to the plane of the base 22; moreover, even more advantageously, as can be seen from fig. 4A, the pins are on opposite sides of the two handgrips 21 , so that the right and left handles 34 are identical and, therefore, interchangeable in use and realizable at a lower cost.
However, the pins can be arranged differently, for example the exploded view of fig. 8 refers to a variant of the invention where the axis of the pins 35, 36 is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the base 22, the other features being the same as described above.
Each of the handgrips 21 is also equipped with a pin 50 that represents a safety end stop for the rotation about the pin 32. The pin 50 is forced (inserted with interference) into a hole 51 of the shoulder 30, and crosses the cavity 31 engaging a shaped slot 52 of the head portion 33, advantageously circular arc-
shaped as illustrated. The pin 50, fixedly connected to the base 22, defines a stop point for the rotation of the handgrip.
Fig. 9a shows one of the handgrips 21 in position of use, where the pin 50 is substantially at the centre of the slot 52, whereas fig. 9b shows the same handgrip in the safety stop position determined by the pin 50 in abutment against one side of the shaped slot 52.
Now with reference to fig. 11 , a simplified embodiment of the invention is illustrated, in which each right and left handgrip fixes separately to the fuel tank of the motorcycle, without there being a base carrying both of the handgrips and with a bayonet joint of the type described above.
The figure shows one of the handgrips, indicated as 21a, which is fixed to a base block 120, able to be screwed directly to the through flange 17 of the fuel tank. The base block 120 carries a head 121 , which has the handgrip 21a locked to it which for such a purpose is equipped with two attachment ears 122, 123, with a hole that allows them to be locked to the head 121 , for example with a bolt. Also in this simplified version the handgrip comprises a handle portion 34 separable from a shank portion 33, and a safety stop can be provided that is analogous to the pins 50 described previously. In the example, the base block 120 has holes 130 that allow it to be locked to the flange 17 of the fuel tank with screws in the threaded holes 17a.
In this simplified embodiment, the quick attachment system between the two elements of the handgrip 21a can be made in an analogous way to what has been described previously, in particular with the pins 35, 36 inserted into seats of the handgrip body and equipped with a coaxial contrast spring.
In a further embodiment (not illustrated) it is possible to provide a system for adjusting the inclination of the handgrips 21 , with respect to the shoulder 30, in selective positions, for example through crowns or toothed elements, fixed or formed respectively on the head 33 and shoulder 30, which can engage in a 5 given number of positions and determine different inclinations of the handgrip. Similarly, a system for adjusting the inclination of the handgrips can be foreseen in the version of fig. 11.
The material of the accessory, and in particular of the flange 23 and of the base 22 and respective handgrips, is selected based upon requirements, preferably
10 being a metallic material like steel or light alloy or other.
The operation of the invention, with reference to the embodiment of figs. 1-10, is the following. The flange 23 is stably fixed to the flange 17 of the fuel tank 15 of the motorcycle 11 , through a series of screws that are inserted into the holes 24 of the flange 23, and lock into the threaded holes 17a.
L 5 Once the flange 23 is fixed to the cap of the fuel tank 15, the accessory 20 can in turn be removably fixed to said flange 23 (therefore to the frame of the motorcycle itself) through the bayonet joint described above. In particular, the accessory 20 is placed axially (vertically and from above) over the openings 28; the base 22 engages on the flange 23, until the flaps 26 are in abutment on the
!0 bottom of the openings 28; then the accessory 20 is rotated by a few degrees, taking the flaps 26 to insert into the slits 29.
The lines of fig. 2 show the correspondence between flaps 26 and seats 27, as well as between the attachment holes 24 of the flange 23, and the threaded holes 17a of the flange 17 of the fuel tank.
The flaps 26, once inserted into the slits 29, axially lock the base 22 into the flange 23; the described pins 60, in this position, engage the holes 71 preventing a possible accidental rotation between the elements 22, 23. Basically, the accessory 20 and the flange 23 are firmly coupled and the accessory 20 can perform its function of a secure grip for the passenger of the motorcycle.
The handle portions 34 of the handgrips 21 , if not already mounted, are inserted according to fig.- 6: the user pushes the pins 35 and 36 making them go into the body of the shank 33, an operation that can be carried out with the fingers or with the help of an object, for example a pencil, then coaxially slots in the handle 34, making it slide in the direction of the arrow, until the pins 35, 36 spring outside respectively engaging the hole 37 and the slot 38. The operation is repeated for the right handgrip and the left handgrip. The motorcycle complete with accessory, during use, is depicted in fig. 10. In use, the handgrips 21 normally maintain a position as indicated in fig. 9A, normally with the end 34a very close to or in contact with the fuel tank 15, such a position being determined by the attachment with the screw-pin 32 to the shoulder 30, the screw 32 being suitably tightened. In the case of the screw 32 loosening, for example due to vibrations, knocks, or even following an accident, there may be a rotation of the handgrip in the direction of the arrow of fig. 9A; the pins 51 nevertheless ensure that the handgrips stop in the position of fig. 9B, making safety better. This can be important for example in the case of a knock or accident that loosens the pin 32. The pins 51 , for example, prevent the handgrips 21 from being suddenly arranged perpendicular to the base 22,
following loosening of the screw 32, that could determine a less secure grip for the passenger.
To disassemble the accessory 20 the above steps are substantially repeated in reverse. In particular, the removal of the accessory 20 from the motorcycle requires that the locking jacks 60 are lifted manually, freeing the mechanical safety lock of the pins 84, that the base 22 is rotated, freeing the flaps 26 from the slits 29 and that they are taken to the respective openings 28, and then that the accessory is lifted. It should be noted that the operation of rotating the accessory 20, in some motorcycle models, could be hindered by the handgrips 21 themselves, the end of which facing downwards can touch the fuel tank 15. In this case the presence of the slots 38 is advantageous: indeed, by freeing the pins 35 from the holes 37, the handles 34 take on a degree of freedom of rotation of a few degrees, permitted by the pin 36 capable of moving in the slot 38. This degree of freedom can be useful for slightly lifting the ends of the handgrips, by rotating the handles 34, and releasing the bayonet joint more easily. The attachment of the accessory according to the version of fig. 11 substantially requires that the base block 120 be secured to the flange 17 of the fuel tank, with a suitable set of screws or equivalent attachment means. The grip is ergonomic, adjustable thanks to the presence of a hinge between the handgrip and the base, and has an arrangement compatible with the bulks of the occupants, and does not disturb the driver whilst driving. Said grip is also aesthetically pleasing, being morphologically shaped like the handgrip of the drivers handlebars.
The invention as described can undergo variants and modifications aimed at satisfying contingent and specific requirements, all of which are also covered by the scope of protection, as defined by the following claims.
Claims
1. Accessory (20) for a motorcycle (11), suitable for making a grip for a passenger, said accessory comprising at least one bearing element (22, 120) adapted to be associated with the motorcycle and supporting a handgrip (21), characterised in that said handgrip (21) comprises a head portion (33), associated with said bearing element, and a distal portion (34), suitable in use to act as a grip for the passenger, said distal portion (34) being separably associated to said head portion (33) of the handgrip (21).
2. Accessory according to claim 1 , characterised in that it comprises quick attachment and detachment means (35-38) between said head portion (33) and said separable distal portion (34) of the handgrip (21).
3. Accessory according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that said distal handgrip portion (34) is substantially hollow and can be inserted coaxially on a body (33a) of said head portion (33).
4. Accessory according to claim 3, characterised in that the head portion and the distal portion of each handgrip (21) are respectively represented by a shank (33), substantially comprising a cylindrical body (33a) and a head portion (33c) associated with said bearing element (22), and by a handle portion (34) made with a hollow tubular element, adapted to be inserted coaxially on the body (33a) of said shank (33).

Accessory according to any one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that the head portion (33) of the handgrip (21) comprises at least one engagement pin (35, 36), and said distal portion (34) comprises at least one seat (37, 38) able to be engaged by said at least one pin (35, 36) following the coupling between said two handgrip portions (33, 34).

Accessory according to claim 5, characterised in that said at least one pin (35, 36) is housed in a seat (40, 41) of the head portion (33) of the handgrip (21), and associated with a return spring (44), arranged to keep the pin normally in an engagement position, where the pin can engage the respective seat (37, 38) of the distal handgrip portion (34), the pin being able to move in contrast with said spring (44) up to a disengagement position.
7. Accessory according to claim 6, characterised in that said at least one pin (35, 36) is returning in the body (33a) of the head portion (33) of the handgrip (21), inserted in a hollow (40, 41) with said spring (44) coaxial to said pin.
8. Accessory according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the head portion (33) of the handgrip (21) comprises a first and a second pin (35, 36), and the distal portion (34) comprises a hole (37) and a slot (38) adapted to be engaged respectively by said first and said second pin.

Accessory according to any one of the previous claims, characterised in that it comprises a base (22), adapted to be engaged on a suitable flange (23) that can be associated with a motorcycle, said base (22) supporting a pair of handgrips (21), right and left respectively, each of said handgrips (21) having said head portion (33) stably associated with said base (22), and said removable distal portion (34).
10. Accessory according to claim 9, characterised in that said base (22) can be associated with said flange (23) through bayonet-joint means (26, 27).
11. Accessory according to claim 10 or 11 , characterised in that the base (22) supports each of the handgrips (21) through a respective hinge (32) and in that the base (22) comprises safety stop means (50) arranged to determine an end stop position for the rotation of each handgrip (21) with respect to said hinge.

Accessory according to claim 11 , characterised in that the base (22) comprises two shoulders (30) that support a right handgrip and a left handgrip (21) through respective hinges (32); in each shoulder (30) at least one safety pin (50) is also stably inserted, which is fixedly connected to the shoulder (30) and engages an opening (52) of the handgrip (21), said pin (50) in cooperation with said opening (52) determining the end stop position for the rotation of the handgrip (21) with respect to the hinge.
13. Accessory according to claim 12, characterised in -that said opening (52) is shaped as a circular arc.
14. Accessory according to claim 1 , characterised in that said bearing element is a base block (120), supporting a single handgrip (21a) and able to be directly fixed to the bulkhead flange (17) of the fuel tank (15) of a motorcycle.
15. Accessory (20) for a motorcycle (11), suitable for making a grip for a passenger, said accessory comprising at least one bearing element (22, 120) adapted to be associated with the motorcycle and supporting a handgrip (21) through a hinge (32), characterised in that it comprises safety stop means (50), suitable for defining a safety stop position of the rotation of said handgrip with respect to said hinge.
16. Accessory according to claim 15, characterised in that said safety stop means are represented by a pin fixedly connected to the bearing element and arranged to engage a seat or slot (52) of said handgrip (21).
17. An assembly group or kit, to equip a motorcycle (11) with an additional grip for a passenger, said assembly group or kit comprising at least one accessory (20) according to any one of the previous claims.
18. An assembly group or kit according to claim 17, characterised in that it comprises at least one flange (23) able to be fixed to the fuel tank (15) of a motorcycle, and an accessory (20) according to any one of claims 9 to 13, said accessory (20) comprising a base (22) that supports a pair of handgrips (21), said base (22) being able to make a bayonet joint on said flange (23).
19. A motorcycle (11) provided with an accessory (20), or prepared for the assembly of an accessory (20) according to any one of the previous claims.
