Abstract

Un casque de protection comporte une calotte de protection (5) destinée à coiffer la tête de l'utilisateur, composée d'un calotin d'amortissement (6) et d'au moins une coque externe (7) fixée sur au moins une partie de la face extérieure du calotin (6). La calotte (5) présente une portion avant (8), une portion arrière (9) limitée vers le bas par une bordure inférieure (10), deux portions latérales (11a, 11b) opposées et une portion sommitale (12). La calotte de protection (5) comporte au moins une entaille (14, 15) s'étendant depuis la portion avant (8) ou depuis l'une des portions latérales (11a, 11b), et débouchant sur ladite bordure inférieure (10) ou sur une échancrure (13) pratiquée dans la portion arrière (9) et ouverte sur ladite bordure inférieure (10). L'entaille (14, 15) délimite de part et d'autre deux ailettes flexibles (16) ayant chacune une extrémité libre du côté de la portion arrière (9). Le casque comprend un élément de réglage du serrage de la calotte (5) solidaire des extrémités libres des ailettes (16), et dont l'actionnement permet d'ajuster la distance séparant lesdites extrémités libres par flexion des ailettes (16).
