Abstract

Hydroelectric plant comprising at least two waterwheels (2), energy transfer elements (20), and devices known per se for transforming the generated mechanical energy, with the axles (20) of the waterwheels (2) being arranged parallelly, and connecting elements (19) adapted for bringing the waterwheels (2) into operating connection, the connecting elements (19) being also adapted for carrying energy transfer elements (20) arranged perpendicularly with respect to the direction of water flow.
