Abstract

The present invention relates to a portable IPTV equipped with a detachable cradle, wherein the IPTV comprises a receiver part for processing Internet Protocol broadcasts; an operating signal inputting part; a display part; a controller part; and an input/output port or connector, and the cradle comprises an input/output connector or port and at least one of a LAN port, a USB port, a signal outputting port for providing processed broadcast signals to a external device, an optical audio output port for providing 5.1 channel surround sound outputs, and an IR sensor part for sensing infrared-ray signals from an external device, all of which are to be connected to said input/output connector or port, and enables viewers to watch and store IPTV broadcasts without the restriction of places and times.
