Abstract
A sensor device is disclosed, comprising a first sensor (10), at least partly enclosed by a first sensor housing (11), wherein the output signal from the first sensor (10) is transmitted over a first signal line (41) to a plug (18), with at least one second sensor (12), at least partly enclosed by a second sensor housing (13), wherein the output signal from the second sensor (12) is transmitted over a second signal line (44) to the plug (18). The first and second sensor housing (11, 13) are arranged physically separate from each other and first and second signal lines (41, 44) run to thee plug (18) in a common cable (16), but electrically isolated from each other. At least one power supply line (42, 45) is arranged in the common cable for power supply to the first and/or second sensor (10, 12).
