Abstract
The present invention relates to an adsorbent agent and a production method therefor, and more specifically it relates to an adsorbent agent comprising a matrix containing a porous carbon structural body having a cyclic structure present in a state constituting a layered arrangement, and a ceramic material present in the pores of the abovementioned carbon structural body. The adsorbent agent of the present invention can simultaneously perform chemical and physical adsorption, it has outstanding adsorption characteristics with respect to lipophilic and hydrophilic substances, it efficiently eliminates ethylene which is a ripening and putrefaction hormone for, by way of example, fruits, vegetables and other horticultural plants, it exhibits an antimicrobial and microbicidal effect, and it has an outstanding ability to maintain the freshness of fruits and the like.
