Abstract

L'invention concerne des dispositifs capteurs de position et de mouvement de doigt à précision améliorée, des algorithmes et des procédés qui peuvent être utilisés dans une variété d'applications différentes. Les capteurs peuvent être utilisés conjointement avec des imageurs d'empreintes digitales partielles pour produire des lecteurs d'empreintes digitales améliorés. Les capteurs de mouvement de doigt peuvent également être utilisés (avec ou sans imageur d'empreintes digitales partielles) pour produire des images d'empreintes digitales extrêmement précises ainsi que pour commander des dispositifs électroniques. La présente invention concerne des algorithmes et procédés d'analyse de signaux améliorés qui permettent de déterminer la position du doigt à des niveaux de précision plus élevés lorsque le doigt glisse sur des matrices de détection de position du doigt.
