Abstract

Selon un aspect de l'invention, une surface émettrice de lumière comporte une pluralité d'éléments d'éclairage émetteurs de lumière discrets sensiblement plats agencés en mosaïque. Chaque dispositif comprend une zone émettrice de lumière et une zone non éclairée, la zone émettrice de lumière d'un premier dispositif masquant au moins une partie de la zone non éclairée d'un deuxième dispositif adjacent. Selon un autre aspect de l'invention, une source d'éclairage comporte une douille formée par la jonction d'un sous-ensemble plate-forme et d'un élément guide de lumière, et une source de lumière reçue dans la douille. Selon un autre aspect de l'invention, l'élément guide de lumière comporte une région de concentration voisine d'une région de couplage en entrée opposée à une région de couplage en sortie, la région de concentration dirigeant la lumière omnidirectionnelle émanant de la région de couplage en entrée vers la région de couplage en sortie. Selon un autre aspect de l'invention, une zone d'éclairage plane comporte deux éléments guides de lumière dotés chacun d'une région de couplage en sortie. Une partie au moins de chaque région de couplage en sortie chevauche une partie au moins de l'autre. La région de chevauchement émet une lumière d'intensité sensiblement uniforme.
