Abstract

 画素回路(Aij)は、一端側をDTFT(駆動用TFT)のゲート端子に接続され、他端側を容量帰還ライン(CSi)に接続されたコンデンサ(Cs)を有し、選択期間中の画素回路(Aij)におけるDTFTと実質的に同一のTFT特性を有するDDTFT(ダミー駆動回路)のゲート端子に所定電位を供給したときにDDTFTに流れる帰還電流を入力端子に入力され、この帰還電流を電圧に変換し、該電圧に応じた電位を出力端子から出力する電流電圧変換回路(14)と、選択期間中の画素回路(Aij)に対応する容量帰還ライン(CSi)を電流電圧変換回路(14)の出力端子に接続し、非選択期間中の画素回路(Aij)に対応する容量帰還ライン(CSi)を一定電位(Vref)を供給する一定電位供給ラインに接続する切替スイッチ(CSW)とを備える。これにより、電流制御型の表示装置において、回路規模の増大を抑制しつつ画素回路のDTFTの特性のばらつきに起因する表示品質の低下を抑制できる。
