Abstract

 より正確なチャネル推定値の算出を可能とする新規のパイロット送信方法、当該パイロット送信方法を用いるMIMO送信装置、及び当該MIMO送信装置と通信を行うMIMO受信装置。MIMO送信装置(100)では、巡回シフト処理部(150)が、拡散符号1で拡散された第1のパイロット信号系列と拡散符号2で拡散された第2のパイロット信号系列とを、異なるシフト量でそれぞれ巡回シフトする。そして、巡回シフトされた第1のパイロット信号系列及び第2のパイロット信号系列が、異なる送信アンテナから同一のパイロット送信シンボル区間で送信される。こうして別々の拡散符号で拡散された各パイロット信号系列に施される巡回シフト処理のシフト量を変えることにより、受信側でパイロットの分離精度を向上することができる。この結果、より正確なチャネル推定値の算出が可能となる。
