Dispositif (1) de construction d'une image (2) de synthèse d'une surface (3) tridimensionnelle d'un objet (4) physique, ce dispositif (1) comprenant : un projecteur (8) muni d'une source (10) lumineuse, d'un axe (13) optique, et d'une mire (12) définissant un mouchetis (14) comprenant une multitude de points d'intensités lumineuses et/ou de couleurs prédéterminées, et une caméra (9) ayant un capteur optique (17) placé dans l'axe (13) optique du projecteur (8), un miroir (18) semi-réfléchissant disposé sur l'axe (13) optique, ce miroir (18) présentant deux faces (19, 20) opposées inclinées par rapport à l'axe (13) optique et en regard desquelles sont disposés, respectivement, le projecteur (8) et la caméra (9), la distance du capteur (17) au miroir (18) semi-réfléchissant est inférieure à la distance de la mire (12) au miroir (18) semi-réfléchissant.
