Abstract

A temperature control apparatus is provided for a chip to be used for chemical reaction. The temperature control apparatus is provided with a chip for storing a reactant; a lower section temperature measuring element for measuring the temperature at a lower side external contact of the chip; an upper section temperature measuring element for measuring the temperature at an upper side external contact of the chip; and a temperature estimating section, which is connected to the lower section temperature measuring element and the upper section temperature measuring element and estimates the temperature of the reactant stored in the chip by using temperature estimating algorithm.
