Abstract
本発明の超音波診断装置は、被検体内部に超音波を照射するように探触子を駆動する送信部と、前記被検体内部から反射してきた超音波エコーを受信する受信部と、前記被検体内部の動脈血管壁内に設けられた複数の計測点における変位量を計測する変位計測部と、前記動脈血管壁と他の周辺組織との境界位置を検出する境界検出部と、前記境界検出部からの出力に基づいて前記動脈血管壁の形状を決定する形状決定部と、前記境界検出部からの出力または前記変位計測部からの出力に基づき、前記動脈血管壁の歪み量を算出する歪み算出部と、前記形状決定部からの出力および前記歪み算出部からの出力と、前記被検体の血圧値とに基づいて、前記動脈血管壁の弾性特性値を推定する弾性特性推定部とを備え、前記歪み算出部は、前記被検体の一心拍周期内における前記変位量が最大となる時刻での、前記変位量の、前記動脈壁の厚さ方向における変化傾向を算出し、前記変化傾向を前記歪み量とする。
