[28] According to the present invention, a bottom piece for Masai walking specialized rolling footwear is provided which comprises a leather, slipsole, insole, midsole and convex shaped outsole, wherein the midsole (20) is forked with plural slits opened toward the free end from a given position, has a high elastic waist shaped shank (29) built in the upper rear portion in which beed shaped ribs are formed in both directions of the forward and backward, made of polyester or polyurethane with hardness 40-60, has a space (22) for building a soft Masai sensual member in the under portion from the middle to the rear portion, has a convex arch shape from the front portion to the rear portion, and has the heel's inclination angle of 25-45 degrees; the soft Masai sensual member (40) has a inner cushion member (44) made of soft polyester sponge or polyurethane sponge with hardness of 15-30, is built in the under of the midsole (20) from the front portion to the rear portion of the midsole (20), has the front portion having the width thicker than the middle portion with decreasing thickness of taper shape toward the front portion from the rear portion, and has a convex shaped arch form on the under portion from the front to rear portion; the insole (10) is built in the upper of the midsole (20) and made of non- woven fabric with hardness 25-30; and the outsole (30) is built in the under of the midsole (20), made of polyester or polyurethane with hardness 70-80, has a convex arch shape from the front portion to rear portion and heel's inclination angle of 25-45.
[29] According to the bottom piece structure of the invention, side pads (42, 42') are built in the both sides of the inner cushion member (44) from the middle portion to rear portion of the soft Masai sensual member (40), and the side pads are made of polyester or polyurethane with hardness 40-60. Furthermore, according to another embodiment of the invention, side pads (46, 46') are built in the inner cushion member (44) from the front portion to the rear portion of the soft Masai sensual member (40), and the side pads are made of polyester or polyurethane with hardness 40-60.
[30]
[31] As shown in Figsl to 3, Masai walking specialized footwear according to the invention has a soft Masai sensual member on the under of the midsole (20). This is a typical footwear comprising a leather, bottom piece and slipsole, wherein the bottom piece comprises an insole (10), midsole (20) and outsole (30), and the surface of the bottom piece has a curved arch shape without the heel, therefore the footwear having the same effect as Masia walking has names such as Masai Bearfoot Technology Footwear, Masai Walking Specialized Shoes, Masai Walking Shoes, and Masai Walking Dedicated Shoes.
[32]
[33] According to the invention, as shown in Figsl to 3, the heeltap of the outsole (30) has an inclination angle of 25-45 against the ground with a curved shape. In case of less than 25 degree, the rolling effect does not occur, while more than 45 degree the walking posture becomes unstable during putting on footwear or standing because of the rapid slope.
[34]
[35] As shown in Figsl to 8, a soft Masai sensual member (40) is built in the under of the midsole (20). The member (40) has a curved shape with increasing thickness from the middle portion to the rear portion, has the middle portion having taper shape with decreasing thickness from the rear portion toward front portion, and has a convex arch shape on the under from the front to rear portion.
[36]
[37] In addition, side pads (42, 42') are built in the both sides of the inner cushion member (44) from the middle portion to rear portion, and made of polyester or poly- urethane with hardness 40-60, and then prevented from being damaged due to hydrolysis reaction. According to another embodiment, side pads (46, 46') may be built in the inner cushion member (44) from the front portion to the rear portion of the soft Masai sensual member (40), and the side pads are made of polyester or polyurethane with hardness 40-60.
[38]
[39] For producing the midsole of the invention, the inner cushion member (44) is first prepared using soft polyester sponge or polyurethane sponge with hardness 15-30, and then the side pads (42, 42', 46, 46') are attached on the both sides of the inner cushion member (44) wherein the pads are made of polyester or polyurethane with hardness 40-60. The footwear, therefore, is produced by attaching the soft Masai sensual member (40) to the under of the midsole (20). The midsole (20) of the rolling footwear according to the invention is made of polyester or polyurethane with hardness 40-60. In case of less than 40, the midsole cannot play the role of a support due to the exceed softness, and cannot play the role of an elastic member due to the exceed hardness in case of more than 60.
[40]
[41] According to the invention, the Masai walking specialized footwear has the midsole (20) with hardness 15-30, preferably the soft Masai sensual member (40) may have hardness of 28 in order to improve the elastic and recovery forces. In case of less than 15, the member cannot play the role of a support due to the exceed softness, and cannot play the role of an elastic member due to the exceed hardness in case of more than 30.
[42] According to the invention, the midsole (20) has the half oblong shaped soft member
(40) with heel's inclination of 25-45 degrees against the ground. Therefore, the hardness reduces by the half and the buffering effect improves comparison with the footwear having not the member (40)
[43] Since the midsole of the invention has the soft member (40), the buffering effect is capable of being improving by compressing the member (40) parallel with the ground during landing step, and the walking effect is improved by generating the repulsive force after the shape of member (40) is recovered from the compressed state during leaving step. The midsole may be produced integrally with the soft member (40) or attaching the soft member to it.
[44] In the Masai walking specialized footwear according to the invention, the midsole
(20) is shaped in the panel form which is made after the pattern of the profile and curved shape of the bottom piece, and a high elastic shank (29) is built in the upper of the midsole (20), resulting in rolling movement against the ground by forming the surface of the heeltap of the bottom piece into a curved shape after the pattern of the shape of the heel and the motion trace of the heel against ankle joint during walking.
[45] In the shank (29) built in the midsole (20) according to the invention, the front portion of the shank (29) is forked with plural slits (29a) opened into the free end from a given position, and beed shaped ribs (29b) for enforcement are formed on the waist portion in both directions of the forward and backward, resulting in rolling movement against the ground by forming the surface of the heeltap of the bottom piece into a curved shape after the pattern of the shape of the heel and the motion trace of the heel against ankle joint during walking.
[46] Since the high elastic shank (29) is inserted into the midsole according to the invention, lighting walking is achieved by improving the walking stability and adding repulsive force during walking, as well as the original forms of the bottom piece and footwear remain and the form of the bottom piece bent frequently during walking is well recovered. Although the shank (29) can be made with any forms and members, preferably it is formed in the panel shape after the pattern of the profile and curved shape of the midsole (20) using polyvinylchloride (PVC), the front portion of the shank (29) having a large bending angle has plural slits (62a) opened into the free end from a given position in the fork shape in order that the bending action achieves easy, and preferably beed shaped ribs (29b) are formed in both directions of the forward and rearward for enforcing the middle portion of the shank, and plural through holes (29c) are formed in order that the mold fluid flows actively during the midsole (20) producing.
[47] The rolling footwear having the midsole can be viewed by three steps of landing, center moving and leaving step. When the heel of the rolling footwear according to the invention touches on the ground during landing step, the impact amount of landing decreases relatively because the landing surface of the bottom piece is broad, and the rolling footwear of the invention reduces the hardness as much as the half with increasing buffering effect, as well as high buffering effect and smooth landing are achieved because of the soft member's parallel compression against the ground, in contrast with the footwear not having the soft member (40). In the rolling footwear of the invention, the bottom surface of the heel having a curved shape plays rolling movement along the ground and absorbs the impact dispersively when the walking step passes into the center moving step. Furthermore, according to the rolling footwear of the invention, since the center of the footwear moves gradually along the curved shape, there is not occurred the rapid impact in the ankle joints, legs and any joints of the body, resulting in smooth and natural walking. Furthermore, since a repulsive force occurs and pushes the foot forward while the compressed soft member (40) during prior step is recovered as the heel of the bottom leaves the ground, the walking effect becomes high and light walking is achieved.
[48] Since the waist shaped shank (29) is inserted into the midsole (20) according to the invention, the initial forms of the bottom piece and footwear remain well, and the bottom piece frequently bent and stretched is positively restored, as well as the light walking is possible by adding repulsive force and pushing the foot during leaving step and also the walking stability is improved.
[49] According to the invention, an insole (10) is provided on the upper of the midsole
(20), is made of non- woven fabric with hardness 25-30, and light walking is achieved because the repulsive force is added by the restoration force during leaving step as well as high walking stability, resulting in high walking efficiency. In case of less than hardness 25, the insole is incapable of playing the role of a support due to the exceed softness, and incapable of playing the role of an elastic member due to the exceed hardness in case of more than 30.
[50] According to the invention, the outsole (30) is provided in the under of the midsole
(20), is made of polyester or polyurethane with hardness 70-80, has a convex arch shape from the front portion to the rear portion, and the inclination angle of the heeltap is 25-45 degrees. In case of less than hardness 70, the outsole is incapable of playing the role of a support due to the exceed softness, and incapable of playing the role of an elastic member in case of more than 80.
