Abstract

A technique of electronically controlling an antitheft key with a simple configuration is provided. In an antitheft system having an antitheft target device and an antitheft device which places the target device, the target device is provided with a key receiving portion engaging with a key portion of the antitheft device and a feeding portion for supplying power to the antitheft device. The antitheft device is provided with a key portion engaging with the key receiving portion of the target device for interengagement thereof, a key control portion for controlling the interengagement of the key portion or the unlocking of the interengagement by the power supplied from the feeding portion, a locking portion locked by a predetermined fixed object in order to place the target device, and a trunk portion for connecting the key portion and the key control portion and the locking portion.
