Abstract

The aim of this invention is a package for hygiene products, such as shampoo, dental paste, shower gel, etc., that can be fastened to a smooth surface, such as a shelf or a wall. The fastening is achieved by means of a suction foot (6) attached to the cap (4). Thus the cap (4) remains fastened to a smooth surface, while the container (1) is screwed out or pulled out and restored back after use.

Description

Description
PACKAGE FOR HYGIENE PRODUCTS WITH A HOLDER
Technical Field
[1] This invention concerns with packaging and holders of hygiene products, especially with combinations thereof, where these two elements form a convenient package fixable to a smooth surface. Background Art
[2] There are known several wall-fixable packages or holders for hygiene products.
Usually holders and packages are separate objects and the holder is fastened to a support (shelf, wall, etc.), while the packages of hygiene products are inserted or otherwise attached to the holder.
[3] The American patent No US4938346 , published on July 03, 1990, describes a soap holder that is fixed to a wall by means of a suction foot. The mentioned American patent provides for convenient mounting of a soap saucer, but doesn't provide for fastening of other hygiene products, such as shampoo or shower gel.
[4] One of the state-of-the-art examples is German utility model patent No
DE202004010419U, published on November 11, 2004. The patent describes a holder for insertion of hygiene products packaged in tubular containers, e.g., shampoo, dental paste, mouth wash, etc. The holder contains bended flexible internal edges that squeeze the inserted container. The disadvantage of the invention is rather complicated and expensive production thereof; moreover, only containers of certain sizes and forms fit into this holder. Disclosure of Invention Summary of Invention
[5] This invention seeks to create a container for hygiene products that could be produced performing simple and inexpensive technological operations and that is fixable by means of a suction foot. It also seeks to propose a fastening for packages that could be easily adapted for majority of container shapes in the market.
[6] The packaging for hygiene products created according to these criteria contains a screw-cap that is inseparably connected to a suction foot. Manufacturing of the package is simple, since only the screw-cap has to be processed additionally. In addition, specially fabricated suction foots can be used for some standard types of hygiene product containers with equally sized screw-caps that can be simply pulled on the screw-caps, thus creating a stable elastic connection between a screw-cap and a suction foot.
[7] The screw-cap is fastened to a smooth surface by a suction foot and is not removed when using the hygiene product. Description of Drawings
[8] Fig. 1 - the principle scheme of a hygiene product package with suction foot.
Description of some Embodiments
[9] Fig. 1 illustrates the preferred implementation of the invention. The body of the package can be of any shape. Containers (1) of hygiene products, such as shampoo, dental paste, shower gel, etc., have an opening (2) for dispensing of the product. A cylindrical surface (3) is formed in the area of the opening (2) with external thread or with a different surface profile. The surface is needed for a stable connection with the cap (4) of screw-in or snap-in type. The cap (4) also has a cylindrical surface (5) with the profile that matches the surface (3) profile in the area of the opening (2) of the container, so that the cap (4) could be reliably screwed onto or snapped onto the cylindrical surface (3). The profile surfaces (3, 5) should be formed in a way that allows opening the package with minimal effort, yet provide sufficiently strong connection in both vertical and horizontal positions.
[10] In the preferable embodiment the cap (4) is rigidly attached to the suction foot (6), so that the combination of the cap (4) and the suction foot (6) could be fastened to a smooth surface by means of vacuum suction. Such fastening should be strong enough for the cap (4) to remain fastened to a smooth surface after screwing in or snapping in a container with a hygiene product. When hygiene product needs to be dispensed, the container (1) is screwed out or pulled out of the cap (4) that is fastened to a smooth surface and later restored back.
[11] Suction foot (6) can be connected inseparably to the cap (4) by means of gluing, thermal processing and other. Also, in cases of standard-sized caps, a suction foot (6) can be attached to and removed from a cap by means of a flexible connection, in which an elastic suction foot (6) tightly grasps the external surface of the cap (4) by the internal surface of its cylindrical part. In this case suction foots (6) can be offered separately and used for different containers of hygiene products with the caps of the corresponding sizes.

Claims
