Abstract

There is provided a system and method in which a portal site can easily obtain the large number of visitors by exposing a search window link of the portal site on a web page of a specific website. A system for providing a visitor analysis service to a website from a portal site includes a program server for generating a unique statistical analysis script for the visitor analysis service and a code for exposing a search window link which is linked to the portal site, and providing them to the website; a search engine for providing a retrieved result of a search word if the search word is inputted into the search window link installed and exposed on the website from a user terminal connected with the website; and a web service providing unit for generating statistical information on the user terminal connected to the website based on data generated by the unique statistical analysis script.
